This item was value for the money having a good build quality and are extremely sharp, they do work well.

I have only given this chisel a cursory check-over and haven't tried to use it on plastic yet, but it looks good and feels good in the hand. The handle is aluminium, light but sturdy and the chisels look to be made from a good quality machined steel. So, it looks the business.Whether the chisels snap off at the 'drop of a hat' or not, or provide years of reliable use, remains to be seen. And that is my first worry. The chisels themselves are all unnecessarily long, in my opinion, and I fear that any accidental sideways pressures applied during 'chiselling' might cause them to snap far too easily, especially the thinner ones. I will report back the moment one snaps too easily!If my fears are unfounded, then there is only one actual gripe, and that is the small plastic case which contains the chisels. Mine is flimsy and the lid is distorted. It does not close properly and remain shut. Mine arrived with the case open and the chisels rattling around loose in the larger plastic box that the set comes in. I can foresee some chisel blades being chipped, even if only microscopically. Furthermore, the chisel case has 10 partitions, which is a bit silly when the set only contains 7. Maybe one might by some 'extras'? Possibly, but whatever, the partitions don't actually 'hold' the chisels still and again they rattle about and, if the lid is like mine, and doesn't stay shut, the chisels will be rattling around loose again. It seems like the case is just a rather lazy, poorly designed and ineffective afterthought.Oh, and it would help a bit if each chisel was marked in some way to indicate blade thickness.All that being said, I've given it 4 stars on all ratings because I'm an optimist.
