Works great
Works great. It is not as stright forward to use as you think, but once you work out the bugs and tricks it works great.

Beware this does not do waffle cuts
I really like this Mandolin. I'm new at this and should have done more research but now I'll stick with it. I like the construction really solid just wish there was more of a thorough description that this unit does not cut waffle style anything. It only does "Cubing" do your research and don't make the mistake I did by just pulling the trigger thinking these are all the same but just in a larger format. I recommend this item and would buy it again.

slicing made easy
This thing slices, dices and is a dream to use. I always look for a chance to use it, either slicing onions, tomatoes, peppers or anything else I fine. sliced zucchini long ways for on the griddle last night and it was perfect , easy and the thickness was consistent which makes it easier to grill . really like this thing .

Paleo Diet Necessity.
I think it's nicknamed the "caveman diet" by the amount of work it takes to make your dinner. This thing reduced a vast amount of time off my meal prep. I ordered it about 10 days into the diet and it kept me plugging along. I'm 4 months in and today I visited my DR and had very good test results on my blood and cholesterol levels. I cook about 3 to 4 days a week but with enough left overs to eat lunches at work too. So clean up is easy and not to often and I have never come close to cutting myself like some others have mentioned.

Didn't work out for me
I really wanted to like (love) this, but it's just too hard to use. The you tube video showed a man racing through all the things this could do. It looked effortless. It wasn't for me. Very hard for me to push the food thing, and the blade didn't seem sharp. The only thing I managed to slice was onions. Even carrots were too hard to push. Potatoes got stuck on the blade. I had to send it back.

It's a tool.. not a gadget
Performs as advertised. Well made of quality materials. I use it at minimum twice per week for regular meal prep, saving me on prep time. I make salsa and relishes on a at least 10 times per month and this tool guarantees me uniform and consistent size of the ingredients.

Great product, could be a little better.
it's a good product that performs as advertised. The only negatives I have to say about the product are :1) It has a large foot print, It's big.. (i didn't read the dimensions before i bought it.)2) I would of liked a product that breaks down more (its not as easy to clean, and because its sooo sharp, its a little dangerous to clean.)Food will get stuck in places between blades, and its suffers from needing a tool to clean it with so you don't risk getting cut.3) The top plunger does not (the part that holds the food) does not go below the top of the track, this leaves you with a quarter inch piece of food when your done. I understand that with the way it rotates, how this makes it more difficult to engineer a work around. But i know its possible.Despite the things I listed, it still is a huge times saver for me... salads, stir fry, soups, DONE..
