This pillow was a life saver and brought more comfort and support during a difficult time than I thought it would. Not only did it help with recovery during my double mastectomy, it has also helped me through my DIEP Flap reconstruction as well. This pillow is versatile. I use it while in bed, in my recliner and also in the car. It can feel like a hug and brings just the right pressure to areas that need it. It can be used with the straps to stay in place, or placed on the chest or stomach while laying down. It has front pockets, which I have found to be great for holding things, including tucking my hands in while I have it laying over my chest in bed. I highly recommend this pillow to anyone recovering from chest or stomach surgeries, it even washes well!!

This pillow is somewhat larger and takes a different shape than other mastectomy pillows, and covers pretty much the entire front trunk area. I am a mom to two curious preschoolers and this pillow helped keep my drains covered and out of reach so I could spend time with my kiddos after I had my mastectomy. It doesn't weigh much, but it does provide a lot of sturdy comfort and protection of the chest area. It also helped me stay comfortable sleeping post-op. Everyone who has to undergo chest surgery should absolutely get this pillow!

This set is very nice!! Soft material, seems sturdy, and I've been wearing it all day after my mastectomy yesterday. The seat belt part works too. I haven't used the shower set yet. My only problem is that I can't really feel the ice through the pocket, my shirt, and the wrapping around my chest. The front pocket is great for holding my phone. It's a bit hard to get the straps over my shoulders without help. But idk that there's any way to fix that.

It’s very soft and adjustable, but I highly recommend getting a helper to adjust the straps for you. The pouch on the inside is the perfect shape and placement for an ice pack over your incisions. I ordered this due to having gone through top surgery, but the package did come with inspirational words for, I can only presume, people battling breast cancer. It was a nice touch, even if I wasn’t the intended recipient So far the pillow seems decently sturdy, and I like the front pocket to hold phones and wallets and such. I ordered mine in this pinkish purple lilac-y color, and while the color was not my reason for choosing the one I ordered, it is a delightful color and it’s so soft too. My one main issue is that I had for overnight shipping at about 4pm on Thursday, then at 11:54pm on Friday I get a notification that it shipped, very clearly no longer an overnight purchase. However, the wait was worth it as I’m crawled back into bed with my ice pack and my drains protected. Haven’t yet used the seatbelt cover or shower back, but they’re both seeming to be made from decent quality materials, with the seat belt cover matching the pillow itself.The pillow did arrive with a small tear in the stitching near the armpit.

The was a game changer. Ordered it for my 6th breast surgery and what a difference! Its comfortable , claming, soft, easily adjustable, the pockets where great for glasses, cell phone , remote control. The gentle cushon was just enough to make the discomfort of surgery more tolerable. I highly recommend!

I had my lumpectomy surgery a week a ago and never opened the package thinking I would return it because I wasn't in too much pain. Then yesterday I started to do more housework and I was hurting. I put this on last night and realized why in the world did I wait to wear it. It is so comfy/cozy and helped me sleep such a good night's sleep last night! I am wearing it in the day when I'm more active around the house. Who ever designed has a heart for women's needs. thank you! P.S. Unfortunately I have to have another lumpectomy surgery next week so I will be continuing to wear this.

After having a double mastectomy, I ordered this. It had become my favorite item! It has helped so much during my recovery. It also came with an ice pack that can be placed in a pocket.

A few days ago, had to have my breast reconstruction reversed (a bit like having a mastectomy all over again) & as functionality goes this product has been a lifesaving game changer. If only the quality of it was as fantastic as the design.It DOES do an amazing job with not only protecting my incisions from any kind of bumping or nudging from things like my car seatbelt or my cat, but also as a great reminder to hug the pillow to my chest when I stand & to not move in ways I'm not medically cleared to yet (such as pushing or pulling my weight with my arms). Plus it's extremely comfortable & the pockets on both sides are ideal for securing a cool pack in the inner pocket to soothe incision discomfort while tucking my cell phone or a small book into the exterior pocket.In all honesty, if I could grade it on design alone it would be 5 stars without question.... Unfortunately, sloppy assembly at the factory drags my rating of it down in the "quality" department.I've only been using the product for 2 days since discharge from the hospital but the seams are already unraveling & exposing the stuffing. Additional, the right side shoulder strap was threaded incorrectly through the clip-in buckle, which has been leading to it not remaining snuggly adjusted on that side... Luckily I'm pretty decent at sewing so the unraveling seam at least I can repair without too much difficulty, but with well below a week of use I SHOULDN'T NEED to be stitching it back together a product that's job is supposed to be helping keep ME stitched together. The strap I can probably fix as well but it will mean spending an afternoon with a seam ripper before I'll even be able thread it correctly through the buckle snap.Like I said, the design is phenomenal but I very much wish the craftsmanship was nearly as good. While I not only love the product overall but also NEED it, it's extremely frustrating having to repair a product that should have been assembled correctly & quality inspected to begin with.
