Silcpset 158 - High Heat and Oven Glass Door Glue

So after reading the other reviews i gave this a shot and it worked straight out of the tube, pretty good instant grab, minimal smell which faded over night while it cured and so far after a couple of months is seems to be holding up just fine.I cleaned the frame and the glass then went over with alchol wipes, followed the instructions and ran a single bead of goop, and extra blob in each corner dropped in the glass and left it over night. no issues and no fuss

Works on Rangemaster oven door glass.follow instructions and allow proper time for curing.So far glass has been adhering fine.

Bought this about a month ago and it arrived a couple of days after placing the order , it is easy to apply ( inspite of no instructios ) however i just followed the exsisting line left from the old sealant and did the whole glass panel it has worked perfectly . left overnight and following day placing 2 pans filled with water on top for weight ,,,My oven is used most days and sometimes at temp above 200 degrees without any problen since using the product ..I would recommend this product

After searching amazon for ages and comparing cheaper alternatives i went for this more expensive option due to it being the only one specifically stating for oven doors, when preparing the door and removing the old silicon i noticed that around the opening of the back door where the glass sits theres was a metal return which would mean extra silicon would be need to ensure contact with the glass, the silicon was easy to use, very sticky but if you take it slow and steady and use the tube rolling tool provided its went on fine, then left for 2 day under weight, now that its back on the oven it looks and works perfectly, no movement or smells and i even have half a tube left

I used this to stick the glass back into my oven door. It's very easy to use, it's thicker than normal silicone and cures to the touch very quickly but was still very easy to apply to my oven door.I made sure the surfaces to be fixed where free from grease and I applied a bit of weight (4 tins of beans) on the glass for 4 to 5 hrs and then the silcone had gone off so I could put the door back in the oven.I left the oven for 24hrs to fully cure before I used the oven, that was a few weeks ago and up to now it's holding the door glass in fine, a good product that does what it says.

The product did work and did stick glass. Will have to wait and see how long this lasts but tube was quite small for price paid so that is reason for 3 stars and the fact that I don't know how long the glass will remain stick as I only applied 3 days ago but working well so far

Used to refit the glass in our Neff oven door, quite expensive stuff but did the job !

This silicon glue bonds better than anything else I have tried (even epoxy resin).A bit messy if you are not careful, but a generous application of this black product will stick pretty much anything to anything!Managed to reattach the hinge on our glass oven door without any bother. Leave time for it to set fully before testing.Will buy another tube when this one runs out - good for so many jobs where strong adhesion is required.
