Excellent, does the job.
I bought this after a full knee replacement. I tried others which were much more expensive. This one was definitely the cheapest and the best! Really easy to pull over the swollen bandaged knee. Does the job perfectly.

After elbow replacement surgery, I could not get the bandages wet for over 2 weeks.this sleeve was easy to use, effective and kept me absolutely dry through numerous showers

Works Well
I have used the Shower Sleeve for nearly 3 weeks and found that has kept my below knee cast completely dry in the shower. Could do with being a bit longer as once you have tied off one end you do lose a little in the length of the sleeve. I do not think it will last much longer as it has marks from the cast showing on it and a little water starting to seep in. For the money though well worth buying even if you have to replace it it is still cheaper to use than many others designed for this purpose.I would recommend it to others especially at the price I paid.

Simple but brilliant
This was a godsend - not only did it do as promised (kept my cast dry) but it arrived very quickly. Being slightly clumsy (or unfortunate?), I have broken a few limbs in my life; this was by far the best and the cheapest solution to showering I have tried. I can't see it working in the bath (ie if it was submerged in water) but it certainly works really well in the shower. Don't go for the "recommended" one from the hospital - in my experience - the last one of those I bought took nearly 2 weeks to arrive, was expensive, uncomfortable and difficult to put on. Go for this one. An added bonus with this is it fits any size cast and I was able to have my fingers poking out the end so I could at least wash under my other arm!!!

An effective splash guard, but nothing more.
After faffing with plastic bags and rubber bands to cover up dressing on my upper right arm, I was really pleased to find something like this existed. It was cheap and delivery was quick. Sadly it did not keep the dressing dry, no matter how tight I pulled the cord - and I pulled it as tightly as I could handle. If you keep the shower brief, try to avoid water going directly onto the area, and put something (such as a facecloth) under the drawstring to absorb the small amount that gets through, it will do the job, though, so, given the price, still worth getting as a splash guard.

Does exactly the job it is intended
A great product which does exactly what is on the “side of the tin”. It can be used by the individual without any help - a perfect solution compared to two other versions I tried.I would strongly recommend this product - it works so well with my PICC line.

Useless
I bought this to cover my shoulder area as I still have a dressing on it from very recent surgery. It would be a great product for lower limb protection in the shower as you really need 2 hands to make it fit properly and be waterproof. Unfortunately, having only one hand and no one to help it's an impossible thing to use. I'll stick to a plastic bag and micropore tape.

Keeps Your Hand Dry after Operations - better than a Freezer Bag
Bought this for use after an operation on hand (not had yet) but thought I would test it out before due date of operation to see if it worked.Well it does and a lot better than just using a plastic freezer bag (have done before but it kept getting too steamy). Now a shower can be had or washes without the worry of getting anything wet that should be kept dry.I was surprised this came in a small box and the item itself not that much to look at an open ended piece of waterproof material with a fastening at either end. But it worked just fine and price wise not too expensive as reusable for lots of times. Will try it out again when operation done and dressing in place to see if it is still just as good.Tried it out the day after operation, had a bath and normal reaction is to put hands under water. With this I could run the bath and any splashes did not worry me, as stitches kept nice and dry. Just felt a bit odd and did remind myself to be more careful when getting out etc as with this blue sleeve on can not help but see it. Just hang over the bath to dry out until next use.I have used this a few times and will keep it for future use, you can use it in lots of different ways, for arms, legs etc. A bit tricky dependant on which hand you use it on, mine was left hand and am right handed so easier than if not. As you pull the black plastic stopper things to pull it closed. Maybe some help may be needed if hand you write with has the problem.Folded up now and back in box, so worth the money.
