works well
I generally don't fix my pastel pictures as have had awful experiences in the past but bought this one to create texture over multiple soft pastels which had saturated the surface. Okay, quite a 'chemically' smell and definitely must be applied outside in fresh air but to my pleasant surprise so far I have not had any streaks or 'blobs', so impressed have I been that I have even used it on a finished piece before posting and not only did work ok but I really could not see a darkening of colours. I am still nervous using it tho!

Works well
This works well, but does take more than one go, particularly on heavy pastel or graphite.

Does exactly what it says on the tin...
Perfect long term fixer and easy to use. Use in a well ventilated area - dries in around five minutes. I always use this before storing my pencil drawings and favourite sketches after they are finished.

Great fixative, does the job.
This fixative has done a good job fixing my charcoal drawings and pencil sketches etc in one (or a couple, for the smudgiest pieces) sprays. I've also used it on watercolour, ink and coloured pencil pieces to stop any colour rubbing off onto other pieces in a sketchbook and that has worked fine without altering any of the colours. The only thing ive noticed is that if you use it on white chalk it can sometimes make it a little more yellow and less of the strong white that you had before fixing, so be aware of that. While it has fixed many of my GCSE and A-level art pieces without ruining them or altering the final result too much, after a while (maybe a couple months) the fixatie starts to leak out the bottom of the can, resulting in many puddles of tar-like fixative in my drawers which ive tried to fix with several layers of duct tape on the bottom of the can, which still hasnt completely stopped leaks.(Also dont use this on pen ink eg fineliners, felt tips, biro because it will reactivate the ink and it will go everywhere)

Its nice
Is good product. Definitely use in ventilated space. Got it and almost immediately gassed myself by using in a small enclosed space. But that charcoal isn’t going anywhere soon :)

Worked well on 50 year old pastel artwork
Worked great on a 50 year old pastel drawing.Tested a small area in the corner and it stopped smudging and degradation of the artwork.Enough in can for multiple uses far much more than I needed.Use in well ventilated room and apply in light dusting coats to not saturate the artwork.

Best I have ever used
This is the best fix I have ever used. Totally fixed my charcoal drawings even in the places where there was deep blacksamd heavy use of charcoal. Never has any fix I have used, done that before. Totally worth my money. Have converted to this one now as my go to fix.
