Great coffee taste - not bitter
Its a bit hit and miss with coffee beans, as I sometimes find them quite bitter, but this coffee is absolutely lovely - how a good cup of coffee should taste. This is my second bag and I will continue with them. HIGHLY recommend.

Great for Affordable Espresso
I thought it was worthwhile highlighting that these are a really decent "supermarket" espresso, for when you can't get to a local/fresh roster, or you want a cheaper daily bean for espresso machines. They are a medium-dark roast, the pack I have is only 2½ weeks off roast, and the flavour of the coffee is preserved, not just roasty or burned. It has been easy to get a sweet shot of espresso with a lot of crema, and there is a nice balance of acidity and darker notes. I haven't tried them as filter or cafetiere yet. Very good for a flavorsome, forgiving daily driver.

Lovely coffee, but not, in the end, a bargain...
The coffee is great, delivery is great, customer service is great - but I didn't get a '3lb value bag', I received a standard 2lb bag. I did receive a refund for the difference, without any fuss at all, but I guess I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't get a bargain!
