Does ok for the money but I've had better not sure if they're made different now

I ordered this on the 22nd July. When it arrived a few days later I de-scaled the kettle as normal. This is something I would do every week, dropped the wire pad in the kettle and as you can see by the photo 6/7 weeks later still good. People say this does not work, It does but it is not magic, the lime scale is still there but not stuck to the bottom of the kettle.1. Descale kettle before adding.2. Every morning before using the kettle for the first time, tip away any water and rinse out. Every few days you will find pieces of limescale in the wire pad, rinse under the tap.

Have used in my kettle since purchase. Can't see ant difference in limescale build up. Disappointed

This helps reduce lime scale build up over time, you would leave it in the kettle until it is coated in hard scale, it’s aimed for very hard water areas and definitely a must

I buy these regularly they are excellent ,they prolong the life of the kettle and ensure our hot drinks taste fresh.I have also got my family buying them too now they have left home.

Performs well at collecting lime scale very easy to use and ok to clean. Size is suitable for normal family kettles, good value for money as it helps but you will still need to de scale your kettle every now and then.

Gets the what? Out of my kettle. Thank you!

Ovviamente non bisogna pensare che tolga il calcare ma comunque ha il suo perché. Riesce a far “attaccare” meno calcare.

Der Chef Aid Kessel-Kalkfänger funktioniert wirklich im Wasserkocher. Wenn man ihn richtig trockenen läßt kommt eine erstaunliche Menge Kalkbrösel heraus, wenn man den Kalkfänger kräftig durchknetet oder auf einer Unterlage ausklopft. Leider erspart er dem Anwender nicht das Entkalken des Wasserkochers, denn es setzt sich immer noch Kalk im Wasserkocher ab. Der Kalkfänger reduziert nur die Menge, so daß man nicht so oft entkalken muß und es vielleicht schneller geht. Daher eigentlich nur 4 Sterne, aber da der Kalkfänger so preisgünstig ist, gebe ich doch fünf Sterne. Die Anschaffung hat sich nämlich wirklich gelohnt.
