Our senior pitbull, Willie, was diagnosed with heart disease and chronic bronchitis a few months ago and we were told to keep his walks short and to not let him over exert himself. I had already been considering a stroller/wagon because he’s 13 and has some slight arthritis and is just slow now too so his new diagnosis made me decide to do it. I did I lot of research, read a million articles and reviews, watched YouTube videos and talked to friends, family and our online community about their experiences and I ultimately decided on this Doggyhut Premium XL. I’m soooooo happy with my decision! It’s exactly what I wanted and more! Willie is an American Pit Bull Terrier and he weighs 79lbs. He’s very thick and stocky and he fits perfectly in the XL, with room to spare for a small water bowl and/or his leash or anything small. I also purchased the pad that fits on the bottom that is sold separately on Amazon and I recommend it, especially if you have a big dog and/or an old dog. The bottom of the stroller/trailer is just the fabric so he definitely needed a pad to lay on for support. But if you have a bed that fits the measurements of the stroller, that would work well too! We just didn’t have a bed that we wanted to use in it. The pad works perfectly though and has a removable cover than can be washed (we’ve already washed it once). The stroller actually handles better than I thought it would! I can push him through grass, gravel, dirt paths, rocky hiking trails, etc, and I’m 5’3”, 110lbs. I wanted one specifically with 3 wheels, instead of 4, because I read they handle way better and so far it’s been amazing! I love that the handle bar is adjustable so both me and his Dad (who is 6’) can both push it comfortably. Willie absolutely loves his stroller and jumps in to lay down when he’s tired and sometimes refuses to get out! Lol. We took our time to get him used to it because we wanted him to really love it. For the first couple days I just put it in the backyard with the brakes on and taught him a “place” command for him to get inside and lay down. He had no problem getting in or out by himself. I just let him lounge in it and fed him treats. And on the 3rd day I had his Dad come out and push it slowly finally while I walked up front and fed him treats. (he can have issues with things moving while he’s on them so I wanted to take it slow). This all worked out great and he really really loves his stroller! Like I said, there are brakes so you can lock it in place when stopped and when loading and unloading. I saw some people had issues with it tipping slightly when the dog got in or out and we thought we might have to get add a kickstand to it but we haven’t experienced that problem at all. The front has both a screen the zippers up for air flow and also a thicker clear plastic cover that you can zipper up if it’s cold or raining. The top zips and unzips and the back does as well. There are also 2 pockets on the back flap to store water bottles, leashes, small bowls, treats, etc and there is another small pocket on the top for your keys, cellphone, leash, doggy bags, treats etc. I added a cup holder that I got off Amazon to the handle bar and I added a baby stroller fan that I got off Amazon to the inside for him when it’s hot. The fan also doubles as an led light and works great at night as a headlight for the stroller or just as a light to see inside for things. I wish I could add more videos but Amazon only allows one. I wanted to give a thorough review after having it for a couple months because I read every review on here and wished there were even more. Oh and I have a friend who owns the Burley XL Bark Ranger that’s $700 and we both like the Doggyhut better! It was very easy to assemble too. It took us a few minutes to figure out how to release the wheel pin but that was just our own stupidity. Lol. The wheels pop on and off very easily and this fits in the back of my car (Honda Element SUV) without even taking the wheels off. Probably most SUVs you would just have to pop the wheels off first…my car is very wide. I haven’t had to fill the tires at all yet and I use it all the time. I haven’t used the bike trailer function yet (I’m nervous because of how big Willie is and how small I am, lol) but I do plan on trying it soon and I will definitely come back and update my review. Hopefully this helps someone else decide if it’s right for them! I couldn’t be happier with our purchase and I keep saying that this was the best purchase I’ve made in year! Haha. I had been searching for one of these for awhile and finally pulled the trigger on this one. First off, it is made specifically for dogs, so that's a plus. Most are made with toddlers in mind but because this is made for dogs it has the right dimensions and openings for the head to pop out and leash connections that you need for a dog without having the children seats in the way. Product came mostly assembled in box. What did need to be put together was relatively simple, attaching the wheels and stroller handle etc.For first use I attached it to my bike in it's trailer configuration. it worked like an absolute dream. The attachment for the bike has a shock absorber that has some play to it so that makes it a breeze to install on different size bikes. The ride was smooth and doggo loved it.The next time I used it in the stroller configuration as shown in my pictures. The top hole is a perfect addition for dogs to poke their heads out, you don't find these in the children versions. Pushing the stroller with the doggo inside was simple and easy. We did 2 miles and I never felt like pushing the stroller was tedious or added too much extra effort. I think the large size wagon wheels help when pushing because it just glides on the street and sidewalk.Also, we have a golf cart with a flat bed on the back. With a push of a button you can release the side wheels and remove them from this thing easily, then pick the entire thing up with the dog in it and use it as a crate. The bottom frame is excellent for securing the dog and crate to the rear of the golf cart and taking him for a ride this way. It can also be used in this way as a travel crate whether in a hotel, or putting into the rear of an SUV or truck. Simply remove the wheels and boom, instant dog crate.This thing has so many uses. I've only had it for one week and I've already used it in all those different ways.If you are thinking about wanting any of the various uses for this product, buy it. You won't regret it, and you will get multiple different items in one. Trailer, Stroller, Crate, Pen, Travel doghouse... The list goes on. All in one item.

Ok, I could have gotten it done with the large instead of the XL but I needed a secure compartment to carry my three bengal cats. They not only fit well and enjoy a great view, they feel protected from predators which is a primal fear when outside in the daytime. This bengal buggy is solid, and huge. It will either be a new vehicle in your garage or a new piece of furniture in your house. It's heavy - nearly 40lbs - which I don't mind but I'm not pedaling this thing from a nonelectric bike. It rides super smooth even with just 3 wheels. At home, it doubles as a hangout and play area for them. Once or twice a year in Florida, we have needed to evacuate. This carries all three cats easily in the back of our SUV and replaces the dog carrier we previously used for that. The 3 wheels can be removed in under 30 seconds for car carry. I would not label this 'collapsible' though. One slight issue: you will NOT be putting the wheel hubs together with the included wrench - you'll need a pipe wrench or vice grips because of the plastic in the retaining nut. But don't let that influence your purchase. My bengals are literally sitting in the buggy as I type this, whining for another spin.

Works great! I like the pockets on the back, and the bed (sold separately) is really soft and seems comfortable for my 60lb girl.Assembly was quick and easy. Folds flat and unfolds quickly, maybe a minute or two at most. The top interior crossbar is a bit difficult to fold and lock into position, but I suspect that will improve with time as the fabric stretches.One of the brakes was broken, it wouldn't lock into position. I emailed Veelar, and their support immediately sent me out a replacement part which fixed the issue!Looking forward to using this more frequently when summer comes!
