It's very flexible, so flexible that I thought it was plastic at first and I had to double take.Grab a plastic spoon and feel how flexible it is. That is how flexible this is.Personally I think the flexibility is perfect but you may not agree

Nice Paint Knife, Coating Chipped Off 1st Use
This paint knife is a nice weight, easy to use, and doesn’t hurt my hand. It is strong and flexible without being stiff and easily breakable.Unfortunately, the coating chipped off the knife on the first usage. I make watercolor paint and use the knife to mix my pigments and medium. I had to throw out the watercolor mixture because there were multiple flecks in the mix.It may work for other uses, but I will have to return the knife. :(

Great for guitar repair
Worked perfectly for working apart glued joints on acoustic guitars. Thin and strong and smooth enough to do the job without damaging the materials.
