Happy with this product.

I got this for my future travel. I took it to the mall and where I work. The two main issues I have had is the seat depth and the limited space for your feat. I am only 5 foot tall and have some difficulty with my legs in the space they have for my feet. I am going to have to add something to the front to be able to stretch my legs somewhat and somehow increase the seat depth as well. I feel like I am about to fall off the seat. If the seat could be moved back about 3 or 4 inches, that would have helped a great deal.It is pretty fast and I do love the remote for folding and unfolding it. I did have trouble like the other customer getting initial use until I realized how the switches were set up and now I have that problem resolved.I did take it out at work today and found some difficulties with certain building issues (uneven ground and steep ramps). Since I purchased this for airline travel, I don't think will be a problem in the airports.

After having used this for several months, we don’t think we could recommend it. The biggest problem is that the controls for the opening and closing only seem to work when they want to. Often times putting the key in and taking it back out sort of resets it, but I’ve absolutely had to stuff an unfolded scooter in the car and at 60 lbs, it’s a real pain. Oh, and the plastics crack very easily on it too, which is easy to do when you have to deal with how cumbersome a “portable” 60 lb scooter can be. The latest issue is the battery isn’t holding a charge any more. It left us stranded in the middle of a theme park and my husband had to tow me on it with a backpack strap around the front bar back to the car. Oddly enough, that went pretty well! Overall it’s just too heavy to be portable and too finicky to rely on to work properly.

Vive automatic mobility scooter is not automatic. The scooter won't respond to the remote. I tried several times to reach out to Amazon as well as Vive. I spoke with Amazon several times, and all they keep saying is they are going to put another complaint in too Vive, also I will be able to return it give Vive 24 to 48 hours to respond back. Vive did reply the first time, by saying they would send me a replacement remote. I replied by saying I don't want a replacement remote, as a matter of fact I just want to return the scooter. I spent $1200 for a scooter that I haven' t been able to use. I've been to the doctor three or four times since I had this scooter and haven't been able to use it.Right now almost 3 weeks later I still have not received any satisfaction. I would not recommend buying scooters online from Amazon or Vive.No Handicap or Sick person should have to go through what I've been through for the last 3 weeks. I ask the representative what can they do for my inconvenience, the lady said she can give me $10. I told the lady that's an insult I paid the person who had to help me double, after spending hours with them I'm Frustrated with Amazon and their 3rd party vendors. This is the kicker, Amazon emailed me to tell me my $139 membership is due February the 16th. They must think I'm crazy.

Best light weight scooter. Very easy to travel with TSA approved.

I received this scooter that my husband was very excited about. I charged the battery as directed and then tried to use the scooter. The battery when I turn on the key, it shows the battery as having a full charge. When I try to move forward as directed in the manual nothing happens, no beep nor is there any indication that it even is turned on except for the battery signal saying lighting up. Further more the remote works to fold it and open it. I called the company and they told me to take a video of what I am doing and email it to them. I did that and have not heard back from them. I tried to do a return and now have been informed that I have to pay for the shipping and carry this fully boxed scooter to my local mailing station. Unreal. I have tried to call the company again and now get their voice mail.

Love how easy it is opening and closing…..easy to put in any vehicle . Took on a 5 day cruise and never had to charge battery lasts long… it is expensive , but worth the extra bucks…..
