Plenty strong for my 85lb ebike. BUT...
I had to offset by 1 inch left and drill another hole in the aluminum mounting plate of my frame for this stand to fit past my 4 inch tires when in the up position. This had only a small affect in that the bike slightly off center when up on the stand but clearing nicely when the stand is retracted. To reiterate, centerline hole did not work and I was bummed. This stand however really looked right to me, plenty sturdy, by far the best design I've seen, and I did not want give up. I did some grade school math and realized the offset would still keep the stand and bike up just fine and indeed that's how it turned out. I drilled a new mounting hole and, wow, it really works well. It's still a fairly top heavy load so care must be taken in using the stand but it stands my bike up just fine. I take care to pick the bike up by it's rear rack both when seating on the stand and when flipping it up. I also take care to not abuse it by sitting on it while on the stand. It already has enough to hold up. I am very happy with this kickstand. It operates well when off weighted and appears to be more robust around the axle than any other cast stand I've bought. And I've bought more than three. So yes, it is a fine wye stand. It snaps up and down without complaint. It balances my long tall and heavy ebike (although it is out on the last adjustment for leg length) well. Oh, and put some lube on it, it really needed it out of the box.

Heavy, but just what i needed.
The media could not be loaded. Thought i would need to keep my kickstand bracket free when i bought a mid-motor to add to my bike and bought a stand that attached to the rear axle. Turned out that stand couldn't handle the extra 30 lbs, and also that i didn't need the bracket to install the motor. So, i looked for strength. This stand, which fit perfectly into the bracket, is strong. It's a bit heavy, but it's strong and sturdy. When i push on the bike, it wobbles a little, and that's it. The feet, which are adjustable for height, are plastic, but seem like they'll hold up despite being hollow. It's a little more than i would've wanted to pay for a kickstand, but this stand has the added benefit that it can be used while making adjustments to or changing the rear wheel, so i no longer feel like i need a repair stand. My motor came with a slight offset in the left crank, which allows the pedals to clear the stand on that side, but that might not work with standard cranks. The right side foot of the stand sits closer to the center of the bike, so there is plenty of clearance on that side. With this type of stand, you have to remember to physically lift your bike to operate it, which takes some getting used to and might be difficult for some users.Comes with hardware to attach if you don't have a dedicated stand bracket.

Great stand!
I installed the heavy duty version of this kickstand on a Trek MultiTrack 7000 step-through back. The difference between the heavy duty vs. regular is that the heavy duty has thicker "squared" legs vs. the more "rounded" legs of the regular. I want this kickstand because I have a rear rack with panniers on them, and want the bike stable so I can load the panniers without worrying about the bike falling over. Upon receiving the kickstand, I noticed there were some minor nicks on the stand itself, where some of the black paint chipped off...I did not worry about this that much, although it would have been nice to have received an item with no damage at all. installing the kickstand onto the bike was very simple. I used the optional shorter bolt since my bike already has a mounting plate. I left the legs in their shortest setting, since this appear to be enough to clear the front tire off the ground. I had to adjust the length of the legs a bit more since I noticed that with both deployed, the bike was leaning a bit towards the "gear-side" of the bike. To solve this issue, I extended the length of the "gear-side" leg by one adjustable range vs. the other side to make both sides symmetric. I am not sure if anybody else had to do this adjustment, or it is just unique to my bike alone. The bike seems fairly stable, but I did notice some play on the legs as you load the panniers and the bike becomes weighted down. One thing I did not particularly like was that with the front wheel in the air when the rear is loaded, the front will rotate freely, which is kind of annoying, but it is just part of the design of such a stand. As others have said, the fact that the stand retracts only to one side is really nice, and looks very clean on the bike. Something to note is that this heavy-duty stand as well as the regular stand are both made by a reputable Taiwanese company called "Massload" which manufacturers a lot of bike components. The heavy duty version is made in Taiwan. It is a quality product.

Fits perfectly, very pleased.
Usually I don't review things until I've put a couple K on them, but I'm just so tickled that my heavy bikepacking rig can stand up perfectly, even fully loaded with 76 lbs of gear. This solves so much struggling and will make the experience of breaking down camp and loading up very close to being on 4 wheels. As you can see in the pics, all 4 contact points are on the floor, creating a diamond shape that is very sturdy. I can even turn the front wheel back and forth to load the front racks.I flipped the bike and installed this stand to the frame using the provided long bolt, with about 20 nm torque. Then laid a broom handle from front wheel to rear and eyeballed the stand extension legs. Second to last looked about right, so I added two lock washers and tightened that up. I will spray them with rust inhibitor and cover with electrical tape before hitting the trail. If I have further news I'll post a followup; if not, I'm out there somewhere, enjoying life with this awesome kickstand.Happy trails!
