Q: I have a very small stove board my boat, what would happen to these if I cut them in half or even smaller

They are designed to be "cut" into thirds by knocking one against another. An axe might help. Those thirds are the size of a fist. The pieces can be set up in pyramid style, if you have space. You would need a fire lighter to get them burning. I think they are worth trying.

Yes, you need kindling, they need the heat from there to get going. Once they’re going they’re great!

Q: How long does one log burn for?

They’re small logs, which give off a fair amount of heat. I use two at once, as they don’t expand and two fit nicely in my burner. Two last approximately 1 hour 30 mins, but I do have the door open which makes them burn faster
