2 years ago I bought this pump and it has worked non stop (except for cleaning) year 'round outdoors in all 4 seasons. That's why I just ordered a second one for a second pond.

Restrictor for this model
Using this for a bait tank. Water flows into a 5 gallon bucket filters back into the bait tank. The water flow is to strong. Can I get a water flow restrictor for this model

It's a good thing.
I mostly used to for a transfer pump. Worked well.

Strong pump
Very Strong Pump. Low heat generation. Used it for experimentation. I was able to reduce it to 0.5in for a experiment manifold.

Died too soon
I bought this pump July 2024. Suddenly it stopped working yesterday. I have a backyard aquaponics, and I have used many different pumps in the past. They all lasted for years. I am very disappointed with this product.

Hot, Hot, Hot
This is a great pump for the outdoors, meaning don’t use within a storage tank unless you want temp to raise dramatically. Tried in a 75 gallon but water temp raised 12 degrees and when dropped in a 300 gallon, water temp raised 9 degrees. Missed the return date and needed ample time to test out but will use in ponds outside as backup units.
