My mother wanted solid "old fashioned " milkshake glasses that she could give to her grandchildren and so from all the reviews we rested on these. She loved giving them and adding all the fluff that goes alongside. :)

Perfect for 11.5 oz protein shakes. I purchased cute straws too. I’m not constantly reminded of how I’m actually drinking a premade protein shake and that’s important to me. Just buy them for this. Then make “real” shakes for everyone else.

So glad I ordered these! They arrived with no chips, and in perfect condition.These are a great size too, for the malts I make.Put glass in freezer for about 15 minutes.Add 1/4 cup whole milk and two heaping spoonfuls of malt power to blender. (Blend well).Add 1 cup of packed ice cream to blender and a good splash of pure vanilla extract.Blend for about 30 seconds. Pour in chilled glass.I am so glad I ordered these. While I could have put my malts in any glass, I really thought the old fashioned look, finished it off! No pun intended. :-)

These glasses are thick, hold a milkshake well, and clean up nicely in the dishwasher. I just wish they were bigger. I should have looked for something like 16 oz.

When you have great ice cream and you want to reminisce about the old days with a soda jerk, you think about the container to deliver it. These are the perfect size for a medium size shake. Face it, if it is not enough, fill it up again. Adding that touch of home made whip cream and the topping of a cherry, takes me back to a time...These have clean lines, very little glass defects (like bubbles in the glass) and are nicely clear. The clean up well and are heavy. Do yourself a favor, let yourself drift back to the by-gone era and drift into the small drug store with a soda jerk making you a really great shake or malt. You won't be disappointed with these.

I was looking for a group of vintage heavy duty glasses suitable for Shakes and Ice Cream Sundaes on E-bay. I did find one set of glasses that did fit my needs. The drawback was a fifty plus dollar shipping fee. I very often compare prices on Amazon and Ebay just to verify costs. I was able to find Libbey Glass Set on Amazon at a very reasonable price and shipping was free. Needless to say the cost difference was in excess of fifty plus dollars. The glasses arrived in perfect condition and they are the heavy duty vintage type that stay cold. The glasses not only work well but In addition they look good. Very happy with purchase.
