This was a first time I’ve replaced a laptop battery like this and it wasn’t too bad. I used a tiny flathead to slowly pull the cable out before I could install the new battery. My suggestion is to just be patient and wiggle it one side at a time back and forth and it’ll come out. That’s the hardest part. The great thing about this product is that they give you the tools you need to disassemble. would help to have a little plastic grabber to remove the ribbon but like I said, I used a miniature flathead screwdriver and it came off with a little bit of wiggle wiggle there. The product came with a 71% charge , took a total of 10 minutes to install and is now charging. Product comes with a 12 month warranty. I doubt I will need it as it seems like a very solid battery and actually looks better than the original Lenovo battery. Both made in China.

10/13/2023:Follow up on the battery after a month use. All working fine. Battery is holding the full power. Very happy with the product.9/10/2023:Placed order and got it in a day. Installed the battery without any issues.So far so good. Replaced battery for Lenovo Yoga model 710-15IKB.As per the amazon product summary page Battery capacity is 53wh. After install laptop battery report showed capacity as 49wh. Which is very good.Battery came with 57% charged. After first install to calibrate the battery, charged it to 100% and drained it to 7%. And recharged it to 100%. Battery report showed the recycle count 1. All worked well.I will update this review after a month to see how this battery is holding up.

This battery has brought new life into my Lenovo Yoga710!The original battery has a 53,000 mWh capacity and the battery test in Windows showed it's capacity at 15,830 mWh.The original battery would show 60% charge and then just shut down, it was so frustrating.This new battery shows a design capacity of 53,170 mWh and the Windows battery diagnostic showed full capacity at 55,580 mWh exceeding design spec!I've had my laptop in a backpack for several weeks (possibly even months) and when I pulled it out the battery SoC was still at 84% and held steady!The install was a little tricky with the tiny screws, but the included screwdriver and pry tool worked great.I had to do it twice because I didn't insert the ribbon cord plug far enough to make good contact (I didn't want to break anything). The first time there was no power so I opened it up again and pushed a little harder and it's been working great ever since!

Replacing the battery was super easy. I didn’t even realize my old battery was swollen! It was just at like half capacity per the Lenovo Vantage app so I was looking to replace. My trackpad was also having issues but after replacing the battery it works great again. Apparently the bulging battery was putting pressure on the trackpad making the “clicking” not work. They also include the two screwdrivers needed with magnetic tips! $35 and I’m done. Very pleased

will not charge. Brought to IT store and the instructions on how to charge it are not normal. Not a genuine replacement battery.

as described --installed easily-curious about the charge, laptop showed 100% then weeks later sometimes 99-98% charged--so far it holds a good charge-- when unplugged the battery lasts normal time now.

I don’t know a lot about batteries once I receive the battery. I took it to the geek squad and had them install it. The price was good it fit and it’s working.

Very easy to install, and I am not a particularly electronics savvy person. There are good YouTube videos if you need help. The only comment I will leave on the product itself is it should include the little tool to get the laptop cover off. They only cost a few cents so charge me an extra dollar and include the tool. The package did include the two screwdrivers which was a nice addition. I didn't have one, but had a tiny flathead screwdriver that worked. In the YouTube video I watched, the guy doing the video used a guitar pick to get it open.
