Small harp to learn on
Wanted a prop for RenFaire character, and this fit the bill. Smaller than others I've used, with a smaller volume of sound, but playable and sturdy. Held up to a couple of days hanging from a cord and being played along with other performers. Sufficiently twangy to be heard in quiet setting, which a RenFaire cast performance rarely is.

Good quality
More compact than others, but that's not a negative. Good sound, and better made than I'd expected.

Sounds Fine, A Bit Harder to Play Then Alto Jaw Harp, Size Alert for Fine Motor Challenges
This is one of two jaw harps I bought for our son a few weeks back at the recommendation of his Neurological Music Therapst. Can I just say, we love Miss E a whole lot, and going there is one of our few places that feels like a safe haven for my son, and we're totally open to trying whatever she suggests. I bought two because I wasn't sure on sizing issues, and our son has some significant challenges when it comes to fine motor and motor planning. So for this one, it is significantly smaller then the other one, and at this time and probably for some time in the future, it's going to be significantly harder for him to deal with. At present he can not. This one certainly has a more professional appearance, but it was harder for me to produce a decent sound on at first. Once I was able to do better with it, I did find that I found the sound tone to have some mellow, earthy undertones that I really liked. And it doesn't seem to have the rust or flaking enamel issue the other one had. Since this one doesn't have enamel of any kind. Although, ours on the other one isn't rusting because I make sure to wipe it down, but it has some areas where you can see that it would if not properly cared for. So this one doesn't have that, and I think that's a plus, because I'm not too sure how our little guy will feel about a rust taste. So for us, the only reason I took off a star is that he can't really use it, and it is more difficult for a beginner to play and sound decent then the other one. But I definitely think it looks significantly more attractive, and that once you adjust to it, the tone is attractive as well.

Safety and quality.
Would not recommend. Too small. Cut your lip very easily and tongue.
