They were needed for wound healing. They were slightly under saturated but I happened to have a bottle of Providone solution. The work, they provide a swab of antiseptic where needed. Not being drippy sort of helps in not staining stuff but I still wish they were a little more drippy. LOL

The actual product is good but on arrival I worried about using it. The outside of the box was sticky (has some type of gunk) and it was stained. It was shipped within a box, so it’s not like it was smashed from being mailed in an envelope- like sometimes Amazon does. So far all the packets are good.

These are pathetic. There is barely enough providone-iodine to rub on a wound. For actual wound as in something requires a real dressing change... You have to use several. Others we have gotten from the clinic you only need 1 swab to disinfect the wound area.

A doctor (MD) advised me years ago to swab inside my nose with these any time I felt I was coming down with something in the respiratory system. I have used them for years, take them on planes if I fly somewhere, always have a few in my suitcase. Now with the covid worry, I swab my nose a few times whenever I've been out in public. Lately I put some water in the wrapper to dilute the iodine a bit and reuse the same swab 3 or 4 times. The swabs are 10% iodine and, from what I've read recently, that is much higher than is necessary to kill pathogens.I am not trained in any medical field so do your own research. I find the swabs easy to use and convenient and am sharing my experience, not giving medical advice to anyone else.
