These are easy to put on the wheels. They do not affect the movement. They protect the carpet from aging rubber wheels.

Yes these covers will protect your floor. But these covers have no traction, I have slight incline to enter from my garage & I cannot go up the slight incline with these covers on my wheelchair. The wheel covers are too slippery. I also cannot go through the doorway from the garage, the wheelchair gets stuck at small bump on the doorway entrance. I need assistance from my family to get through the doorway. These covers are very frustrating.

My son (14) just got a new wheelchair and these were easy to put on and haven’t come off while he’s using his chair in the house so far. I’ll buy again.

The trick is to put it under the wheel first, hold the wheel down and slowly turn it, seating the cover as you go, black anti slip is inside, soft pale gray felt outside, they are pricey but well worth it, remember to remove when going outside. I cheated for the small wheels, bought gray plush steering wheel covers for the smaller front wheels, cut them *sew elastic in place first" and sewed on black velcro so it goes through the spokes of the wheels, works great
