Excellent value for your money
This is the third I order this thread. I make totes with burlap coffee bags and I needed a strong and thick thread for the job that wouldn't be too costly. After researching on Amazon and reading lots of reviews I decided on this one.My first two orders perfectly fine, I was able to even use this thread for finer details without compromising the quality of the final product. I was so happy that I placed another order.Except that this time I was having a lot of trouble with the thread knotting up, unraveling, and fraying.I had several orders to finish up and deliver before Christmas and no time to wait for another order to be delivered. So I got online and went through reviews again to see if I had missed something, anything. And I am so glad I did because I had in fact missed the main thing, which was to use the appropriate size needle for the thickness of the thread. This is a T-70 which requires either a size 16/100 or an 18/110.I was using the 16/100, which worked for the first couple of cones I ordered, but oddly didn't work for the third time around. Upon switching to a size 18/110, the very same cone that was giving me so much trouble was working without any problems, no unraveling, no knotting up, no fraying. I was able to finish up all my orders and keep using the thread with no incidents whatsoever. This thread is a great value for your money. It is super strong, and there is no way you are able to break it using your hands. With that being said, if it gets knotted it will most likely break the needle before the thread breaks off. that's how strong it is.So if you are having a problem with fraying and knotting I would check your needle size to make sure it is appropriate. Just because you used the same size tread from another brand with a specific needle size does not mean that you will be able to use it with this thread as well.I have sewn several bags with this thread and they are SUPER strong.I will update this review if I have any problems in the future but in the meantime, I am ordering more of this thread in different colors.I am very happy with it and I do recommend it!

ballet dancer's treasure
This thread is perfect for sewing pointe shoes! It is the perfect color, and the exact heavy weight thread sold in pointe shoe sewing kits. This large spool will do dozens of shoes. If you wear a lot of Pointe shoes, or are a dance teacher fitting a lot of students, this saves so much time and money. What a wonderful find!

not Very bad
The only good thing about it - it's cheap. I tried numerous settings, different needles - no luck. It fries, tangles, breaks and, sometimes, break a needle. It's not bonded, so it unwinds and splits. It's probably still ok for hand sewing, but not for sewing machine. Totally disappointed with this purchase.UPDATE: It appear to just very tricky to set up, but I finally nailed it. Since it's not bonded it has a lot of friction on a friction plates and needle, so, on my machine I had to loosen friction plates all way down to almost zero and needle that appear to be work the best is Singer denim heavy duty. Also I had to loosen friction on a spool a bit. Now only complaint is - it's not bonded, so it's harder to thread the needle and work with the ends. But color is great and well suit my project. Will see how it will hold overtime.

Strength, unbreakable, color.
I purchased this thread specifically to make a necklace. I chose this color because it is a little darker than my skin. So far I have not used the thread but I did cut a few feet off to see how strong it was. Tugging hard, I was NOT able to break the thread. I plans on using it for crafts and sewing projects. If it holds up this well as a necklas I will be very pleased. :)

spool does not fit either of my Singers.....However...
I spun it on 2 bobbins: one for the bobbin part below and one for the upper thread. I made 6 sandbags and it worked out well. It's definitely heavier and frays at the tip but I was able to thread a regular needle and sew away. cut the end slant wise and keep trying.......it's UV thread ; I had bought it to make an awning but then found a good awning maker .....so, instead I found a different use for it.

Shreds
I love the lilac color however this thread is not bonded and shreds quite a bit when used in my industrial sewing machine.
