The product is fine for indoor riding. I’d never use it outside, though, in public, since the cut is odd. It ends up riding high in the front (or you need to pull it up) and it’s too low in the back. This is common with lesser quality products. It does make things a little uncomfortable, but for an extra pair of shorts for indoor riding, it’s ok. I do end up fiddling with them a bit more than I’d like.The material is firm and tighter than most name brand shorts (PI, Castelli, etc), and it fits a little snug because of that, but they’re ok. If you’re on the fence on sizing, I’d size up. I’m generally a Medium, and they’re ok, but if I was normally a little tight in a Medium, I’d go Large.

Padding is good. I have not used at rides much over an hour, so I can't say I've REALLY given the padding a thorough test yet. It's a little bulky, but that may be the tradeoff in budget shorts. I really wish it had a pocket. A couple of my light jerseys don't have pockets (makes them cooler, I think) and I like having a pocket for keys vs. putting in a bike bag. I have another budget brand that is slightly less padded but has a pocket ... if I need another pair of budget shorts, I will probably go w that other brand as a result. This padding seems like it MIGHT be better ... maybe ... so I will try these out on longer rides and maybe this pair will be for those long rides. And I think the construction of the shorts is slightly better in this item. But I really just like a pocket, even a small one.But overall, very comfortable shorts with good padding. If you don't care about a pocket, I'd say these hold their own with even more expensive shorts and give it two thumbs-up

While I normally wear mountain bike shorts, I was getting a professional bike fitting and road shorts were recommended. All of my current road shorts were too big due to weight loss, so I bought these essentially for just the fitting. However, I found they fit well, and the padding is in the right place. Cannot yet speak for durability.

These shorts seem to work well - The first ride I wore them on was a century, and I hardly noticed the shorts were there until about 65 miles in when we got drenched in a downpour ...... for me at least, the key difference is in the picture above ... I bought multiple pairs of different colored Sponeed shorts, and some came with the green padding while others came with the blue. The green has fewer segments/sections, which turned out to be preferable for me - I think the multiple sections in the blue padding tend to rub a little more (in all the wrong places!) ... but perhaps that's just me!

I’ve had these for about two months and use them for riding the peloton a few days a week. I throw them in washer and dryer without any thought and after 10 or so washes and rides they are as good as new.The fit is great as well. I’m a 32 waste and don’t have muscular legs but these fit nice. Not too tight.Great value, comfort, fit, and durability.

I purchased these bike shorts based on the reviews from others and the ratings I found on other sites. They are very comfortable and I would highly recommend them.

Now, this is the only pair of these that I've ever owned, so I can't compare them to anything else, but they are pretty awesome. The goochieguard does its job while making my legs looks fantastic. I do notice they seem to be a little high waisted, but it has yet to bother me at all.

I am 5'8 and 172lbs and the size L are a good fit. The gel pad was very comfortable on my 50-mile training ride. These cycling shorts are a bargain.-Phil

The shorts are well made, fit well when following the guide and look sharp. They are not good for rides over 60 k unless your butt is tougher than mine.

I would highly recommend these cycling shorts especially if your riding long distances.Great overall fit overall and I bought another pair as I was so impressed 👍

After trying multiple brands I come back to these for superior comfort and size. I ride for fitness not racing and these riding shorts are excellent.
