I purchased this less toxic paint to paint the trunks of my fruit trees. It covered well, is white, and easily cleaned off your hands and clothing as long as it is washed promptly when wet. I painted the trees over a month ago and the paint is lasting great through the rain and cold and sun.You might ask why not use organic tree paint? Because tree paint is so expensive. Anyway, The ingredients were not harmful to my trees or soil. This paint was a good value for the money and for my needs.So, I purchased a few quarts. I used a quart of this paint for five trees. As a furniture flipper, this paint is a furniture painter’s dream! Gorgeous color, dries super fast to a velvet finish with no sign of brush marks. Yes, it’s thick but that’s the beauty of it because when mixed with a little bit of water, you’re in control of the consistency of the paint, and after using it to paint 6 chairs, I’ve barely used any at all. I’ve used Annie Sloan for years, but this paint - a true chalk paint - is the only paint that comes close to the texture of Annie Sloan. This paint is not a mineral “chalk” paint. I don’t know about y’all, but $27 a can compared to $45 a can, well sign me up. I only wish this paint line would make more colors! I’ve read reviews that the lid is hard to take off, but that’s what paint can openers are for 😚

I have been painting interior homes and furniture for about 50 years and have used many different paint products over this time. I ordered this chalk paint to try it and was extremely disappointed. It is like water. No good chalk paint is going to be this thin and watery. I do not recommend anyone buy this. It is a waste of money!

Painting wicker basket and glass wear for daughter’s wedding.Took me forever to open it….. needs to have a colored line around the container to show where it opens…. As it is difficult to know where it actually does open.!!!!!!

If you want to turn your dressers or chests into a vintage piece of furniture this is the way to go. It dries very quick and looks great! It has a chalky feel and might not be as durable as acrylic or oil based paints.

Color was right on and love the after finish texture of it! Lid was a little difficult to get off, had to use a knife and screw driver but the end result was well worth it. Used two coats but I think that’s normal for any paint. It was thick so I still had plenty left after painting the whole Buffett. I don’t leave many reviews but this was a product worth reviewing!
