I know this toy is for ages 3+ but my under 2 year old had a lot of fun playing with this. My little one knows not to swallow or eat any of the pieces as I've watched him from afar with many different toys. I'm also one of those moms that wants my baby boy to play with dolls, or whatever he gravitate towards. Just like how some parents don't want to push their girls to play with dolls, I'm not going to push my son to play with trucks and dinosaurs. Today he saw this toy on the table and was asking me to open this shiny new toy, so I did. I am surprised he was really enjoying feeding the baby bottle to the baby, and was probably doing that for a good 30 minutes, which is HUGE for any child to have that long of an attention span. Coincidentally enough, we got the most masculine looking of the bunch, the blue one.He wasn't as impressed with the crying baby but I thought it was pretty cool. I believe there's a piece of something gold colored in there because at first it didn't cry gold tears but whatever that melted in there after I added water started to make golden tears. If you have white couches or pillows that cannot be washed I would be extra careful around those items.I did find it a bit annoying because the limbs kept falling off, if not the arms its the legs. I know this toy is not going to last long because those parts are going to disappear into the dark hole of toys soon. You can still play with it though, even if it is missing arms/legs because the water part of this toy is the body and face, which is one piece. There are also parts like the shoes, crown, pacifier, etc.The box looks pretty cool but my son accidentally dropped it on the carpeted floor and it "broke" into two pieces. I know it can be latched back on but I gave up after 2 minutes.Overall I think this is a simple and cute toy, but I wish the limbs didn't come off as easily as it does. It is somewhat easy to put it back on but it seems to fall back off just as easily. If your little one is interested in these and wants to collect them all, great, otherwise I personally think one or two of these is more than enough.
