AquaPurr 4 (CT - Corded w/Plumbing Tee Valve) Cat Water Fountain - Connects to Toilet or Sink Shut Off valves

The media could not be loaded. I could not be happier with my purchase of the AquaPurr! I actually bought 2 of these - one directly from the manufacturer because I have a black cat and I was concerned that the proximity sensor would not detect her - and it doesn't. I sent a question to the company and learned there is a motion sensor version that works beautifully (see video attached). My Chloe figured it out in about a minute after I hooked it up and she loves it! I have 6 cats and every one of them is using this fountain.Customer support from the manufacturer is awesome and faster than you would believe. I would recommend this fountain to anyone with cats. I admit I hesitated to buy this fountain the first time I saw it because it is a little expensive. But, it is worth every penny! Now my cats get fresh water whenever they want and I don't have to ever deal with taking apart and cleaning slimy fountains again. Also, setting it up was really very easy even though I hooked it up to the water line behind the toilet since my sink faucets are not the kind you could attach anything to.My cats and I thank you, AquaPurr!!

The media could not be loaded. Omen will ONLY drink running water from the faucet. It was an over all inconvenience waiting for him to finish before we could carry on with our day, or get back to sleep when he would wake us. We tried every type of fountain and he never used any of them regardless of style.Having recently learned Omen has early stage kidney failure so hydration is more important than ever in addition to prescription food.My husband connected it to the ice maker and added an inline filter. Even with the modification set up was easy and fast. Functionality is excellent!My only regret is not purchasing this sooner!

In November 2023 I bought the AquaPurr, and I’m totally pleased with it. I set it up in our guest bathroom, where they were always jumping up to the sink and asking for drinks, and now they love getting their own drinks any time they want!My handyman helped me with the installation, as it ties into the same water line that runs to the toilet. There is no filter involved, and no upkeep or maintenance to worry about… just the water line and a power cord. AquaPurr is a small-business enterprise, and the inventor helped me directly with any questions that I had.It took a little bit of training the kitties, because the fountain switches on with a motion detector, and I had to get them used to the little noise it makes when it clicks on. I showed them how to jump up and turn it on, and eventually they caught on. Our more laid-back cat learned in a couple of weeks, but the more nervous one took six. I showed him (by lifting him up) how to jump up to the sink and turn on the fountain, meanwhile soothing him and getting him used to the click. After a while he didn’t flinch at it any more, and then he was perfectly at home with the unit.It’s the best kitty water fountain ever, and NO WORK!

The media could not be loaded. My cat Juno is a bengal and will only drink running water. I've tried several different water fountains, and they all suck. You have to constantly fill them and they get scummy and gross no matter how much you disassemble and clean them and he likes to play in the water so there was always a mess on the floor. We moved into a new house about a year ago and we have a kitchen faucet with a lever handle, and he taught himself how to pull the handle to turn on the kitchen faucet and get a drink. Great, but he didn't teach himself how to turn it off so sometimes we'd come home to the faucet running, or we'd hear him turn it on in the middle of the night (if we were lucky) and have to get up and shut it off. It's hard to find a pull-down kitchen faucet with anything other than a cat-friendly lever handle nowadays, and I thought a touch faucet would probably be even easier for him, so AquaPurr to the rescue!!There is a plug for the dish washer already under the sink, so I bought the plug version. In order to hide the water line and power cord, I decided to drill a small hole in our granite countertop, which was scary, but worked out purrrfect because now the water line and power cord go right down to the source without really being seen and the unit just sits on the countertop next to the sink. No one even notices it. He figured out pretty quickly how to trigger it by leaning in towards the faucet like he always did to pull the handle but now he doesn't need to because the water just turns on like magic for him. He doesn't even mess with the handle anymore and won't burn out our well pump or drain the well by leaving the water on!! Best thing about it is, again, he's getting all the fresh water he needs, and I don't need to do a thing. I LOVE IT!! I would give it 10 stars if I could!

is that it's loud when it clicks on and spooks both the cats.I have tried treats and other sorts of motivation to get them up there, I have also tried closing and opening the faucet to see if that has any impact but it didn't..Not sure what else to do but it's been over a month and they're still not drinking from it.Not seeing the value for money yet but remain hopeful that it'll get adopted as the fresh water source..Easy to install
