Great for shaving around sideburns and kept beards for a clear line and close shave.

These razors work just as well as those over-priced, multi-blade razors. I have been using these for a couple of years and I have NEVER suffered any nicks. They are easy to hold and they last a reasonably long time. Over the years, I've tried more brands than I can remember. After all is said and done, these suit me just fine.Update: I recently bought some more of these razors in February 2017. The first razor that I grabbed out of the bag felt as if it was going to cut me. I threw it away before I was done with even one shave. The second razor I used has been working fine. I hope I didn't get a bad batch.

Bic single blade work best for my husbands thick facial hair better than other blades he’s tried including the electric razors. His beard hair is crazy tree trunk thick and grows like crazy. When he wants to be clean shaven this blade does a wonderful job. Excellent control, results and minimal scraping. Can’t find in stores anymore so I order a bunch online and he is very happy. This time three were broken in the package (neck part) but I believe this happened before shipping. And since it’s the first time I’m just going to mention it here so Bic can let their production line know. Happy and will order again.

My husband has used Bic Metal Razors for 20 years and were the only razors he'd use. But the ones we got in our last order have been redesigned and are awful. While they look the similar, the appear to be made with cheaper parts and don't perform nearly as well. They don't give him a close shave and miss spots and cause more razor burn. They barely last through one or two shaves and then are completely useless. We will not be reordering these razors. I would not recommend.
