simple & quiet
I seem to have had trouble with extractor fans non-stop. In the end I gave up on the usual make I buy and bought this one from LeKaufen. It is really simple to fit, works well, and perhaps importantly is really quiet.

It’s fine. Not great
The fan itself is fine, the plastic feels a bit flimsy and cheap but it’s fine as a fan and it’s not that noisy and it’s as simple as any to install.

Truly awful. Avoid.
In trying to avoid the buy cheap, buy twice trap that I fall into far too readily on Amazon, I thought this reasonably (but not cheaply) priced fan might do the trick of replacing the last knock-off Melrose fan that I bought from Amazon (which purported to come with non-return flap - it didn’t, and was also marketed as being quiet - which it wasn’t). Well this time, not only have I been sold a terrible fan, I also paid more for it than the last one! It’s awfully made, with a clip-on fascia and just two screw holes to fix it to the ceiling. The cable (black being positive and blue negative) actually passes outside the side of the casing, so unless you drill your own hole through it to hide the cable, it’ll be visible. The body is fitted with 6 small angled strengthening fins where the extractor tube joins the body. If you’re replacing a 4” fan, it won’t therefore fit the hole without marking the position of each fin and cutting into your plasterboard - really difficult to do when fitting to a ceiling. It has a ridiculously flimsy non-return flap, which just about secures to equally flimsy lugs on the body. Finally, having gone through all the faff of fitting it, it sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Zero stars would be more accurate. I’ll give it month if I’m lucky.

Works, but looks rather flimsy.
I ordered one of these because they are one of the few that includes a backdraft flap in the unit. When unpacking it the backdraft flap dropped off. Upon examining it, the mechanism that held it in place appeared very poorly made and although I was able to put it back together again, I doubted that it would have a long life, so sent it back for a refund. This wasn't a particularly cheap product and it didn't impress me with it's robustness. I bought a Manrose MG100S instead, ball bearings, 5 year guarantee and made in the UK for less money, and then bought a separate backdraft preventer. Job done.

Easy to install very quiet value for money. Blends in well with bathroom decor.

Powerful fan
The fan sounds more powerful and does eventually disperse the condensation. It is very noisy though an I would consider changing it because of that.
