Great Puzzle
This puzzle is part of my daughters collection of escape puzzles. We put it together in a few hours then you figure out clues and pull out certain pieces of the puzzle to create the answer to the mystery. Fun and entertaining for the whole family.

All pieces fit together with every piece
I don’t like that all the puzzle pieces fit together with each other. With the image being kind of hard to make out because it wasn’t completely the same as the box, it made it hard to put all the pieces together because everything fit with each other. I was expecting higher quality for this brand. Puzzle dust everywhere. Not sure what the point of all those extra rectangle pieces were. I haven’t even started solving the puzzle yet, but it’s very vague.

Beautiful Picture, Solving mystery not fun.
Pros: This is a beautiful puzzle. I like the fact that it as nice big pieces and it was interesting knowing there was a mystery to solve.Cons: I did not like the fact that all the edge pieces fit into every piece even when it did not belong. That is not a challenge to me but a frustration. Also, if you do not love solving math problems then it will not be fun to try and solve.Last: The answer to the mystery was very unsatisfactory to me. I guess they are limited into how much mystery they can put in a puzzle but I would have liked a bigger explanation into why since they give you a story line starting out. It would be nice to have a satisfying ending.

Disappointing
I received this as a gift because I'm really into puzzles. The added mystery once the jigsaw is completed seemed like it would be a fun challenge. I assembled the puzzle, but I have no idea what to do next. The instructions in the box are less than helpful. I have no idea what the mystery entails. Math is involved, but with dozens of numbers printed all over the puzzle, where do I start and to what end? I know there are answers online, but I hate to use cheats like that. I'd like to solve it myself. It's really disappointing that they can't include real instructions in the box. I won't be doing another one of these, even for free. It's just not satisfying.

Physical puzzle fun - mathematical one - NOT
I will start by saying it was a lot of fun to assemble this puzzle. I put it together at work with a co-worker who also enjoys puzzles so I knew I'd have extra help if I got stuck. She was the one that looked up the hints when the "answers" that I thought were right were not. I'm no math whiz but unless math is done differently in Europe, the numbers/equations made NO sense. Oh, and don't get me started on the fact that one of the hints is the Fleur-de-Lis and the flower it actually represents is not even in the picture! If the solutions to the other puzzles in this series are as frustrating as this one, I will not be purchasing any more of them! Puzzles are supposed to be enjoyable and fulfilling. They aren't supposed to make you question your own intelligence.

I know a secret Escape route - it's called the Back button
I've played a few of these Ravensberger escape puzzles. The first one was baffling to me, but once I got the hang of how the puzzles worked (they usually involve counting, paying attention to order, or finding visual representations of numbers) I enjoyed the next few a lot more. Then I got this one and was baffled all over again.First off, the puzzle itself is extremely drab and not particularly fun to build. Next, the puzzles are absurd, leading you to any number of potential answers depending on how you interpret them (note to puzzle designers: a lily is not an iris!). Finally, the correct 6 pieces you need to find require a lot of guesswork to assemble. In summary: If you love dull imagery and deeply ambiguous clues, you should buy this puzzle! Otherwise, hit that back button and look for something else.

One of their worst puzzles
We have enjoyed other Ravensburger puzzles, but this one was not up to their usual standard. The puzzle itself was dark and not much fun to put together. The background story was not very good. The mysteries to solve were misleading and poorly constructed. All around, not worth buying this puzzle.
