Easy to use, worked really well to prevent pain, very comfortable , stretches over a good range for a good fit

This works great for me, and I’ve purchased two to be able to wash one after a few workouts and have one to wear.I found it difficult to put on, until the lightbulb came on and I moved the umbilical pad to the same side as the plastic logo, and behind the loop side of the loop/pile fastener. Now I just position the pad over my belly button and fasten the belt in front. This turns the scratchy loop fastener away from my tummy, and makes it super easy to put on. The plastic logo rests against my back, but I don’t feel it at all. Additionally, since the loop/pile fastener is doubled up over my stomach, I get more support over my belly button.See my attached pictures. Changing the way I wear this has made a good product great.

Comforatable

I have a latex rubber allergy. This product didn't cause any negative response.Instructions are clear, minimal, great packaging.This is a small business and product is amazingly comfortable. I was surprised how much the band helped, but there is only one way to fix a hernia: through surgery. This might work under a weight belt if you squat.I wore the belt all day, under loose shirt for work and both over a workout shirt for a workout and against the skin. It does make a little warmer than natural skin, and it is properly fitting, a great size, and supports like it should. It's just that there is no substitute for correction. With insurance and medical providers denying a hernia repair this can help make it a little more comfortable. Just know it won't make it go away.This item hasn't needed laundering yet. It is so helpful, for the first time my tummy felt normal while wearing the belt and strong. The level of support is remarkable and comfortable.

Well made- soft, comfortable, Velcro holds and doesn't scratch skin like some. However, would like it to be tighter but I'm already using the S/M size. Liked it and went to look for a smaller size and realized I already got the smallest. Probably won't be tight enough as-is for someone in better shape. I'm probably going to look for another pad to insert on top of the one already included to apply more pressure to the spot. Overall though, much better than the last other brand one I tried that Velcro would scratch over the sides, make a lot of Velcro ripping sounds when exercising, and just not stay closed. But disappointed but will probably continue to look for a perfect one for meUPDATE: After about a month or 2, stitching starting to come apart, and fraying edges are a little spiny and sticking my stomach. Still using for lack of finding a better one yet, but has to flip it around because it the "fishbones" sticking into my stomach. Someone doing more strenuous exercise than me would get even less time out of this probably. I'm just doing a little yoga and wearing it all day at a desk. Knocking my prior rating down to 3 stars because it's still more compact, supportive, and comfortable (when not poking me) than others, but it's falling apart and at some point will have to get another or find alternative.

I have an umbilical hernia that has been getting worse for several years. It is difficult and scary to try to gently squeeze a plum-size section of intestine (full of semi-digested food) back into your abdomen where it belongs. While I await surgery to correct this condition, I am enjoying the relief provided by the Belltop Hernia Belt. The belt is about 5 inches wide, made of a strong, stretchy, breathable material that adjusts and closes using overlapping hook-and-loop ends. It has two built-in vertical reinforcement strips that maintain the 5-inch width while the belt is worn. The hernia is kept in check by an adjustable oval pad with a bump in the middle. These features make the belt surprisingly effective yet comfortable while I waiting a surgical cure for this condition. I highly recommend it.

The pad smells like a cross between urine and fish, the belt smells a little like fish. Putting it on without help is very difficult because you have to line the ends up perfectly or the overhanging edges are like heavy sandpaper against your skin.
