I have been using this product for 1 week now.I've had a problem for many years doing what I needed to get done on my To Do Lists. I self-distract whenever there's a moment of indecision. It's a very odd problem which occurred in recent years due to prolonged, low level EMF radiation exposure.I've been looking for methods to correct this and while I'm not saying L-Glutamate is curing the problem, I am noticing significant improvements in just a week. My mental clarity has steadily improved. I can focus much more on daily tasks. My sleep schedule has returned (circadian rhythm improvement). My wife said I'm easier to talk to (less irascible). I'm noticing slight changes in my face and body structure (fat/tissue is laying differently). I've changed nothing else to my lifestyle except adding 1.5 tsp of L-Glutamate twice daily on an empty stomach, especially once before bed.Actually, I've been waking up in the middle of sleep to get the dose in. Blood-brain barrier and all that. You may not need to go to those extremes but I really want my mind back.You can tell the product is good because it doesn't dissolve in water very well and has a very strong acrid taste. In other words, they didn't try to change the product to make it easier to consume. They're giving you REAL L-Glutamate!P.S. L-Glutamate IS Glutamic Acid. Not to be confused to L-Glutamine.

I gave this 5 stars because the product is legit. I did notice increased energy the first few days I took it. Unfortunately, my dna doesn't process glumatic acid properly and I started to feel those effects. This is a product I can only take occasionally. Not the products fault, just my genetics.

I have been taking this for a month, along with some other amino acids, and my energy level seems to be improving. I'll need to spend more time on it to say for sure, but so far, so good.

I originally bought this by mistake, I was looking for L-Glutamine and I was going to return it until I read about the benefits of Glutamic Acid. I'm definitely glad I decided to keep it. I have borderline personality disorder, which cannot be treated or managed by any medications... I found out that Glutamic Acid actually is used to treat personality disorders when reading about it. I have been taking it for almost 2 weeks and I have noticed a HUGE difference in several aspects of my life from it. My mood has become MUCH more balanced, I don't deal with up and down mood swings like I have for nearly 34 years. My depression is almost entirely gone, after tirelessly trying multiple different supplements over the years with no success. My energy levels are much higher, I've been going through a bad phase the last 2 years where my energy has just been completely drained from my body, I couldn't get off the couch or out of bed unless it was absolutely necessary, just getting ready for the day took all in me, mentally and physically. Now, I feel like I can function like a normal person. I get up, I do household chores, I get things done easily that used to take SO much effort. I also was dealing with a lot of "brain fog" during the last couple years, after taking this supplement for just a few days, I had already noticed the fogginess had already lifted. I take it twice a day, 2 tsp each dose. I can't see myself without it anymore, it's been a HUGE game changer in my life. I know that they don't state that it's used for personality disorder treatment, but I did want to include that in my review in case I could help someone else with the same issues. Thank you for making a great product, I'm definitely a customer for life now!

I bought this product because it says it has no flavor but it does. It has a nasty metallic taste. It also leaves a goopie taste in your mouth that stays for a long time. Save your money and buy something else

When I was in college I used to take some supplement pills that contained Glutamic acid as the main constituent to help me regulate my sleep that worked very well. I bought this product to make my own capsules with the recommended dosage to get more restful nights and they worked but after one week of taking them I had to stop because they were giving me a slight headache during the day. The headaches disappeared after I quit taking them so I won't take them anymore. I have no idea why this happened, I'm no Chemist nor an MD so I have no grounds to blame the product.

I’m maxed out on pills and capsules and decided to give powders a try. I’ve been taking this for two weeks, twice a day, and have already seen a significant improvement. The flavor does leave a little to be desired (spoiler alert: I take their arginine powder, too, and it is super bitter) however if I mix it with a little coke zero it’s definitely tolerable. It doesn’t dissolve completely, even after sitting 10 or 20 minutes, so there’s definite grit. I haven’t tried mixing it with something hot, that might solve the problem. I know it’s an amino acid, but I’m still worried about denaturation, so I can stomach the grit and unpleasant flavor. Also, it upset my stomach at first so I took it with food, but that’s no longer a problem - guess I just had to get used to it.I will definitely be buying another bag when I run out.

I feel like this is making me mentally sharper, I am remembering so much more detail in my everyday tasks, I know because I am not having to write down every single thing, but yet, I’m not forgetting things. People talk about the funky taste, I don’t find it offensive at all, I take it dry in a spoon with no problem at all.
