I recently started having problems with my Astro A40s so I decided to get a cheap headset until I get it fixed. I was very pleased with what I received. I was able to plug the headset into my mixamp and it worked perfectly fine. The sound is not the highest of quality compared to the A40s but I believe it's very high quality for a $60 mic. The mic mutes itself when you move it up which is very convenient. The headset can be pretty tight and so if you have a large head or large ears it might be a bit uncomfortable or too tight on you or maybe it'll take some getting used to. It's not a perfect headset but if you can't afford an expensive headset this is a great option. I play competitive COD and had no trouble hearing enemy noises. It also looks simple and clean which I prefer.

Very fast shipping thanks to amazon prime. I’ve used it a full day now, out the box I was astounded, very slick awesome design, everything I needed was included nothing missing. I plugged it right up to my Xbox controller and had to go through my options to set it up to work, when I finally got it to work I heard the amazing sound. Incredible base perfect for gaming, the headset fits so snuggly and comfortably over your head and ears. Very good for long hours of gaming.At first I thought the mic didn’t work, and with a little research I learned that I didn’t plug the aux jack in far enough on the A10 side. As soon as I did the mic worked good as new. The Mic sound / game sound integration is perfect, I haven’t heard such quality from anything yet.The removable jack makes it really durable in my opinion and prevents you from accidentally dropping or pulling the cord off and breaking it.I didn’t have to buy the mixer Amp for the Xbox that’s a lie, all these negative reviews are false I truly advice you buy this headset you have my word that for 60$ you won’t find a sexier more perfect headset for Xbox or any console including PC.

This was a gift for my 16 year old brother who loves to game on his Xbox One! Here's what he has to say about them:I love this new head set! The A10s are a really good price for the quality and comfort they provide. I previously had a pair of PX24 Turtle beaches and they were more expensive, but this headset beats it in all aspects. It has more bass and depth than my previous headset. Also, it's glasses friendly, doesn't dig into the side of your head, and you can play for hours with comfort.Overall, he loved it and he's been using them nonstop! It was the perfect gift for Christmas! They got delivered very quickly too, within 2 days with Amazon Prime!

This is a nicely built, comfortable headset. The quality of the plastic felt nice, it fit my head, and the detachable cord is a huge plus. There was a small scuff in the plastic on the underside of one of the earcups, but it wasn't particularly noticeable. The rubbery cables would be my only complaint as far as the materials go.Unfortunately...I can't comment on how it sounds. After my initial positive impressions, I was quickly concerned with how loose the cable attached to the jack on the ear cup. It was barely secure. Sure enough, there was no audio in the left ear and the right was extremely quiet (a complaint that turns up in multiple reviews on this page). I don't know if it was damaged in transit due to the minimal amount of protective packaging Amazon uses or if it was already broken and passed QC anyway. I don't know what the mic quality was like, because the sound levels made it unusable. I tried using another audio cable just in case, but the problem remained.For the price, this seems like a great deal, if you get one that works. There was no option to exchange it either outside of a straight refund. I ordered some Redragon H510s instead. Those are great.

4 years later and I'm still a proud (take this lightly) owner of the Astro A10'sPros:- Comfortability is completely depending on the size of your head and ears, the headset has adjustment sliders that go up and down if you have a bigger or smaller head but the ear cups put a fair amount of pressure on the ears which may be an issue for some people at times including myself- The sound quality is amazing and is probably the only reason I'm still rocking with this headset, I'm a video editor & motion designer so doing sound design with this headset makes it a breeze and listening to music at full volume is still as pleasing from when I originally bought it back in 2017- Adding onto the sound quality, this headset is super bassy so if you like that then there ya goCons:- The mic isn't detachable and only slides one way, this means if you're wearing the headset correctly the mic should only be able to slide down facing your left while wearing it. Prior to this headset I always wore headsets with the mic facing to my right and thought I'd hate the change but I got used to it and it doesn't bother me at all anymore- Did not come with a PC splitter as advertised, I still don't know if Astro's official website offers a splitter if you purchase from them directly but if you're worried about not receiving one I would 100% check Astro's website beforehand3/24/2021 update: I'm gonna keep this short but overall this headset has lasted me a very long time, I think the only thing I would change about it if I could would be to change the layout of the ear cups but that's really it. I plan on upgrading to studio headphones very soon to pursue my career path but I'd still highly recommend this headset if you're on a budget and want more than a decent headset as it's lasted me this long already
