A lot of fun
Finally got to use this with my boys. It was a lot of fun. Easy to assemble - had to use ample Teflon tape on every set of threads to stop leaks. Would definitely recommend putting the nose cone on, as it made the rocket fly much straighter and farther. With the nose cone, we got about 250ft at 70 psi. Bought the parachute but it failed to deploy half the time. - probably my fault. You definitely don’t want to use anywhere near and trees - especially with the parachute. I bought a cheap bike tire pump, but it I struggled to get it to 80psi (usually launched at 60). The pump started failing at that point. Will research better/higher rated pumps - and it gets tiring pumping after a few launches. No problems with the fins breaking but we were in a grassy park. All in all, a good purchase.

I am now a ballistic missile superpower and will be submitting my demands shortly...
The media could not be loaded. Awesome! A bit of leakage around the coupling/bottle nozzle when the pressure gets above 80psi, but that's plenty of pressure to get some very impressive altitude. We broke a fin on our third launch, but you can see we're in rocky terrain. Would recommend getting a second set of fins along with the launcher. Just ordered a set of nozzles and fins direct from Stratofins so each kid can build their own rocket; looking forward to the nozzles being available on Amazon but suppose I probably have enough parts on the way now.Using portable car battery jump start/compressor combo to pressurize the rockets. Works great. This is an amazing amount of fun for kids (and their dad) and highly recommended.

Great launcher—not a toy!
First quality and high performance bottle rocket launcher. Not a toy. This easily puts. 2L soda bottle with nosecone 100 feet high on air only! Haven’t tried water yet because the backyard is too small to recover due to high trees. Also recommend getting the parachute or making one. Definitely makes for a gentler landing. Made with first class materials. A winner!

It worked as I expected and the kids were pleased, but the instructions (it being my first time) were not great. I have seen other reviews stating the same. I would recommend the comp. releasing a step by step video on constructing the item.

Reliable, well-built product
I bought this to play with my son. He loves it! The biggest issue is that I'm out of shape, which is a bit of a factor when using a bicycle pump to pump the bottles up over and over (and over and over) again. The unit is very well built, and will likely be in good functioning order well after my son is old enough that he no longer wants to play with it (at which point I'll pack it up for when I have grandchildren). There are three things to note about this product:- First, when you attach the clamp to the release mechanism, the instructions specifically state that you shouldn't over tighten the clamp. They are right; if the release mechanism is sticking, loosen the clamp until it moves freely again.- Second, while the rocket is designed to work with water, it can work using air alone. To do so, you will need to make sure that the nozzle is screwed in tight; this may require you to cut away part of the soda bottle (NOT the nozzle!). The advantage of using pure air is that it takes less pressure (and therefore less pumping with your tired arms) to make it go up high. In addition, it will fly straighter than if you use water (the instructions explain how to build a nose cone, but I haven't tested this yet).- Finally, be sure to have several rockets ready and available to use! We lost one in a tree, and if we didn't have the second one my son would have been extremely disappointed!

AWESOME launcher; fins so-so. Would be more stars if I could contact seller.
Awesome launcher. Fin attachments could be stronger. One busted on about the 10th flight. All I want is a new little piece of plastic to replace the one that broke (threaded piece that the fins attach to). Apparently leaving a crappy review is the only want to contact seller. Don't want to go to the trouble of a return just over this one little part.
