Nice and thin.
Look, this is a $30 knife and for that it is a really good knife as long as you know what you're getting. This is a nice, extremely thin profiled, slip joint knife. The handle is thin but surprisingly ergonomic. I love that the handle will patina over time and gain character. The blade opens easily via a nail nick and the slip joint is not too strong or light. It is just right. The blade is a Sandvick 12c27 and the profile lends itself to slicing and precision cuts. I like that the pivot is NOT pinned so that it can be cleaned and adjusted over time. Did I mention this is slicy? And it came sharp, especially for a $30 knife. The pocket clip is well made and the tension is good. I have no problem sliding onto my pocket without it catching and it allows for deep carry, tip up. Sorry lefties, it is right side only. The pocket clip does not get in the way of, nor cause any hot spots with my grip. But again this is not a knife you will be cranking, prying, ot applying a lot of pressure to.To me this took the German made Mercator Black Cat knife and improved it in just about every way possible. Better opening/closing, better materials, fit and finish, edge, etc...

Great for the day to day...
A user, a fine light work pocket knife. Couldn't be simpler. Competent cutlery steel, traditional blade shape, nail nick and spring detente. No lock. The brass is already picking up some character as it gains patina. Very pleased with this item.
