Perfect!
My grandmother loves the phone. It's ease of use makes it perfect for her with dementia. It would have been nice if the product came with exact measurement sizes of the buttons where you can put photos. But other than that, she said she it's so easy and loves it.

Easy to use for persons with low vision and early dementia
Big buttons are easy to program, and can even have long distance and international numbers programmed into them.

I thought I was getting a good deal
The ringer is loud or ear-piercing. The volume is atrocious. You cannot hear anything then there will be a loud echo and the person you're talking to comes in incredibly loud then the echo and nothing again. It is the same for the people on the other end of the call. You cannot switch from handset to speaker and back, which is rather ridiculous. Finally, there is also no caller ID which I may have been able to deal with had the phone actually worked. However, now I feel like it just adds insult to injury. I wanted to love this phone because it would have helped my son a lot, but it is only suitable for quick, unimportant calls.

Working for now
I ordered two of these phones for my mother from another vendor, and one of them was unusable. I ordered a replacement from this vendor, and the phone I received seemed fine. The plastic covers on the buttons are a little fiddly to remove--a tiny screwdriver helps. I labeled the buttons with words instead of pictures, as the pictures would have been so tiny I didn't think they would be useful for my mother. The phone is working for now, but it seems a little on the lightweight side, and I hope it holds up. I would willingly pay a lot more for a heavy, well-built, basic phone with a good number of programmable buttons for my mother with dementia, but there are surprisingly few available. (I really need a very basic phone. Bells and whistles just confuse her.) I am hoping for the best with this one. Fingers crossed.UPDATE: A few months later, the phone is still working. Yay.

Convenient and simple phone
I am very satisfied with this landline phone. It can make calls without any cumbersome operation, and even an old and clumsy person like me can easily contact anyone. To be honest, I can't find any shortcomings. I give it five stars.

Worth buying.
I used this phone to call relatives far away, and the call quality was great. The voice was clear, without any noise, just like talking face to face. Compared with mobile phones, the signal of this landline phone is more stable, and I no longer have to worry about poor signal.
