Effective for therapy, but might be too stiff for beginners.
Bought this for therapy and rehabilitation of tennis elbow. What I like • The FlexBar is highly effective for strengthening forearms and relieving elbow pain. • Made of durable material that can withstand intense resistance training. • The variety of resistance levels makes it customizable to different therapy needs. What could be better • It might feel too stiff for beginners or those with lighter resistance needs. • The grip could be more comfortable for prolonged use. • The instructions could be clearer for specific exercises to ensure proper technique.Bottom line: A great tool for rehabilitation and strengthening exercises, but it may require some adjustment if you’re new to resistance therapy. Perfect for those working on elbow recovery or improving grip strength, but consider softer options if you're just starting out.

This thing is so awesome in so many ways
So after using it for a year to help rehab my wrist and my fingers, I've found more ways to use it that I wanted to come back here to tell everyone to get more value out of their purchase.I use the green theraband as a foot roller and it works great! Seated, I roll one foot or two at a time to massage my feet. If I want more stretch or pressure I stand up with one foot on it - great preventative stretching for my feet and achilles.Recently I injured my leg - the calf muscle and it got so tight. In addition to massaging my calf muscle, I take the green theraband and use it to "pound" my calf muscle to loosen it by whacking my calf muscle with it. Maybe it only works if your muscle is tight but boy did it help my tightness.Anyway, just wanted to share a couple non-conventional ideas for using the theraband. Don't put it away in the corner of the closet when rehab is done, there's so many other ways to use it with a little imagination!

RUBBER THERABARS
These are great for hand, arm and shoulder exercises. These dried rubber bars are so versatile for several exercises. I have three of them in different colors and different pounds of required pressure to bend them.

Great concept
I wish they were a few inches longer so that I could hold the band more naturally. Other than that, these work well enough that I'll keep them, even though there are other brands that are $20 cheaper.

Easy and inexpensive way to strengthen hands, wrists, forearms and shoulders.
I purchased the set of green and red Theraband Flexbars so I could use the red and my husband the green. I was introduced to this during physical therapy for my wrist and could not believe how a simple item used correctly could help strengthen my wrist and grip strength. I was taught how to use the Flexbar in PT and realized how important it was to continue with the exercises to keep/increase my grip strength that was diminished from wearing a cast and brace. It is very easy to use, requires little storage space, is not heavy and is strong enough to bend up or down. The red Theraband Flexbar is 10 lbs of resistance, green is 15 lbs of resistance and they are made of rubber with an easy grip. They also make 6 lbs resistance in yellow, and 25 lbs resistance in blue. Other uses are for tennis and golf elbow.

"Building Muscles By Bending"
Yes, you build muscles in your hands, wrists, forearms, elbows, and shoulders by simply bending these rubber flexible bars. Flexible bars that come in 3 different sizes(skinniest one for minimum strength, middle sized one for medium strength, and large sized one for maximum strength). In which you can bend these things downward, or upward. But if you want to get the most resistance you bend upwards, and you can also bend more than one bar at a time for more resistance. But anyway I use these things to build up my joints in my arms. So when I throw punches as a martial artist my punches are more solid. And I'll find out if my joints have become more consolidated when I hit the bag again.

Good product.
Therapist recommended this brand. It’s the same one used by my therapist. Quality product that will last much longer than I will need it (I hope) lol.
