Worked great on my red bottoms, but stuck a little too well. I could not get them off.

My cobbler usually takes 2 weeks to apply rubber soles to my shoes. I wanted to wear these boots to an upcoming event and found the clear soles on Amazon.Steps to apply:1. Clean bottom of shoes.2. Trace the bottom of the shoes with an erasable pen. I was only able to write on the "grippy side" and thus created a reverse image.3. Carefully cut the sole protector with sharp scissors. I didn't want my protectors to cover the while bottom of the shoe and left some room around the edges.4. Because the traced image was reversed, I applied the right traced sole protector to the left shoe and vice versa.5. Carefully place the protector on the bottom of shoe and press from the center.6. I'm allowing my protectors to cure for 48 hours prior to wearing.

These soles were perfect for my red bottoms! They protect the sole and also provide a grip on the bottom of the heels. Even after taking the sole protector off my shoes look good, it didn’t take off the color.

So far so good. Purchased these for a few pairs of my Louboutins; created a template and cut on my Cricut maker without a problem. Wore the first pair out to dinner, didn’t do a lot of walking but so far they have held up nicely. Nice adhesive to the sole after cleaning the shoes with alcohol, the rubber gripped the floor nicely without feeling much difference in my step. The picture is after the night out. Would definitely purchase again.

I loved that I could cut them to fit the bottom of any shoe, but they are super thin. They are so thin that tiny pieces of glass cut their way through them and into the leather sole of my expensive shoes. They also came unstuck after just a few wearing. Do yourself a favor and take your shoes to your local shoe repair place and have them put thick rubber bottoms on your shoes instead of these.

Bought these "protectors" to cover the soles of my brand new shoes. Instead, they damaged my shoes. After cutting to size, which requires very sharp scissors, as the covers are a thick silicone. After sticking to the back, they seemed okay, except as you can see from the photos, after wearing 1 night, they started coming off. So I decided to remove them---and then had to stop because along with the covers, they removed a layer off the soles. Result, the complete opposite of what they are suppose to do. HORRIBLE. Maybe they are meant only for plastic soles? no idea, but definitely NOT for leather soles.

First, I have not taken them off my Louboutins so I’m hoping they don’t damage the lacquer.However, they are doing what needs to done with my Louboutins. I am hitting the pavement with confidence knowing my shoes are protected. The grip gives me extra confidence on smoother floors. Baby, all my new Louboutins are getting covered with these. They are a game changer!!!
