Cheap product
My son bought this crossbow with the money he raised this summer mowing lawn and babysitting. We did the research, factored budget, read reviews and came up with this crossbow. The excitement he had to purchase his own and get it in the mail. We put it together the way the instructions said, sighted it in, practiced from different shooting angles and distances, lubed the rail as directed. He was ready! He finally had the chance to harvest a deer, pulled the trigger, and bang! The string snapped and the deer ran off. I have sat on hold with Centerpoint for over 3 hours and never talked to a soul, sent emails with no response other than they are experiencing higher than normal call volumes. Needless to say, I have an unhappy son and a broken crossbow with no response from Centerpoint. Disappointed…

Watch the video on assembly
Bought this bow in August. Everything was nicely packaged. Watched the video on assembly and assembled while watching the video. Took it out and zeroed it in at 20 yards. Went to 30 and fine tuned it. Took it out to 40 and fine tuned it some more. Brought it back to 30 then 20. Held zero. I used the cocking crank. Note here....you absolutely need to collapse the stock to use the crank. It is designed to fit into the square hole in the stock. If you don't....it will not be secure when cocking. I've shot it several times without any issues. It's not light but I knew that when I bought it. Scope is decent. Make sure you level it in the rings and torque the screws evenly. Overall it's a nice bow. This is my 1st crossbow as I can't draw a compound back anymore due to shoulder surgeries. I'd buy it again.

weak parts
just getting ready for hunting season checking over everything making sure everything works correctly and parts started breaking, now can not be used because of the parts breaking. very disappointed .
