'Shattered silver' or whatever the little rainbow triangle holographic color is called is the best, almost tied with the satin/light gold. All the mirror looking colors are VERY flaky - a high grade, heavyweight (but not full or coated cardstock) paper, a name brand minc machine, and minc designed protective folders can compensate for this, but at that point you've invested enough in this kind of thing that you should get better foil if you want it in any of the mirrored colors. The sailor moon print pics show the issues with these foils, & how you get better results with better paper. The black foil is so nasty as it seems to be either reacting with a coating on my cardstock or is just pressure sensitive. I ordered a name-brand black foil and the difference in quality is shown in the Phenomena prints. I got the best results out of it on previous prints running it thru a more standard laminator, which does less pressure than the minc, so that's my suspicion of it being pressure sensitive. But it wrinkled fiercely on those applications, leaving streaks across the prints, so it also seems prone to heat issues. I can still get an interesting look for horror-fanart prints, so if you end up with this extra because you wanted one of the good colors, think about some gritty Halloween cards or signage. Honestly, I appreciate that most of these foils were kinda flaky/subpar, because they've really prompted me to upgrade the other portions of my foiling set up, and they're so affordable you can get them just for the 2 good colors and it feels like a pretty good deal - this is what keeps these at least at 4 stars for me. Just don't buy them if you NEED good+reliable results for anything but the shattered silver or light gold colors.

This foil works great! I have a gold foiling machine; however, there are times when I want to create a custom design. I can create my project using any design software and print it out on my laser printer (Reactive Foil only works with laser printers). I can then cover the design with the foil and run it through my laminator! This is particularly helpful when creating sentiments like Happy Birthday or Get Well Soon!I ordered the white foil because it is the one color I do not have in my stash! This is foil. The foil is shiny! There is little point in foiling an image to get a "matte" finish.There are no instructions included with the foil!1. Print your project, image, etc. This must be done using a laser printer or pre-printed laser toner sheets.2. Place the foil (shiny side facing up) over your project!3. Place the project into the laminator's carrier pouch and run through the laminator. If you do not have a carrier pouch, you may cover your project with a piece of thin cardstock or paper. Be careful not to create a sandwich that is too thick. A thick sandwich could jam your laminator.This is a nice quality foil that adheres with one pass! I have not experienced any difficulty using it! I did not experience any flaking and the foil adhered well to all areas where toner was found. The price is on par with similar products I have used in the past!

Made in ChinaComes in a fold and seal bag. Each roll is taped close.This seems to be a mixed bag. Some of them work some of them do not work. With my hot pen working I was able to write with some, but not with others.This is a great value since it is five for the price of one elsewhere.I like how easy these are to use. Since I am able to tape it to a card then write what I am going to write and it just transfer. I look forward to doing Christmas cards this year, and my daughters are enjoying bling-y lettering.

I got these thinking I could use heat pens for transfer, but worked best with glue adhesion. I haven't gotten to try toner transfer though so idk if they work with that. Just a word of caution to fellow foilers.
