So convenient and much safer than a razor!
I went back to shaving my head after a few years of having 'normal' hairstyles. I have an electric razor for my face and an electric hair clipper but found the clippers didn't get a close enough shave for my liking, so started using a razor for my face and head. However, even though I was being careful, I still managed to 'nick' myself every other shave and when you shave your head and face at least twice a week, the back of my head looked like I had a disease! Plus, getting everything ready and taking my time, shaving, meant the whole process (including cleaning up and putting everything away) was taking me 20 to 25 minutes.Using this means I can shave my face and head in 1 to 2 mins and, although it's not as close as a razor, it's still pretty close and I've not nicked myself! It comes in a 'rigid' plastic case with all of the advertised attachments and it's replaced both my electric razor and clippers and it's lighter than them both so I can take it on holiday with me and still save weight! It came fully charged (90 minutes on the screen) and I've been using it for a week (3 shaves) and it's showing as still having 80 minutes left - even with me playing about with it on day one! If I average 10 minutes of use per week, one charge should last me 2 months - can't complain about that! It's not the cheapest but it's not the most expensive and, although I can't comment on the longevity, it seems to be of good quality so I'm hoping it will last me a while and allow my nicks and scars to heal!UPDATE - another reviewer has pointed out there is little room behind the shaver heads for the hair which has been cut off, so depending on the length of cut hair (the manual recommends you shave every 2 or 3 days), you may have to stop and clean out the shaver. Also, I saw a comment regarding wet shaving so I thought I'd give it a try! I used a very thin layer of shaving foam (as I still had it lying around from when I used my razor). The shaver picks it up and it seems to 'struggle' a little bit at it looks like the shaving foam starts getting 'thicker' but it does dissipate and you head slowly becomes clear of the shaving foam. Just in case, I stopped halfway and rinsed out the shaver (including lifting the shaver heads and rinsing them under the tap - about a 10 seconds job), and then continued.I've got to say, the shaver is amazing and shaved even closer to the skin than a 'dry' shave. It's a bit more of a faff having to wet my head and put shaving foam on and then cleaning up everything at the end but it's a safer option than using the razor with no nicks! My final word on this, is that I've since read that the shaver heads do get blunt and should be sharpened or replaced every 6 to 9 months (dependant on your usage). I've not found any blade sharpeners but you get replacement heads starting from ยฃ16 and increase with more shaver heads (ยฃ17 for 6 heads and ยฃ18 for 7 heads), so factor this in when considering whether to buy this.Personally, I'm still delighted with this and will be buying one for friends and family - it is REALLY good!

Good for what it is
It came slightly broken but I glued it and now it works just fine. Can't complain it does the job.

Newbie to Scalping
From a pixie cut, to a no. 2, to a no.1 - to scalped... This kit was an easy transition for a newbie to self-shaving the noggin. As you can see from the photo I have plenty of moles, lumps and bumps - and despite my fear of a bloodbath if I shaved too close, the rotary shaver did its job well... Not down to the bone if that's what you want (I had no preference - and quite like the velcro texture ๐) But to the uninitiated - I look scalped and that's fine by me.Only used it 3 x times so can't comment on battery life or build quality - but I still have 80% battery and it's easy to clean and hasn't fallen apart yet ๐Had no reason to use the attachments so far, as a skull shave was my reason for purchasing - but I'm sure as a menopausal women the nose and ear trimmer will come in handy at some point ๐๐๐Worth a try without breaking the bank ๐

Worked well until it didn't
At first I thought this product was great, first time I'd used a hair trimmer like this but within 3 weeks the blades were dull and not cutting as short as it once did, it was also pulling on the very little hair I have left.I got myself a replacement head which only lasted 1 week before breaking then got another which lastest one shave before the centre blade broke but I carried on using with just the four outside blades (because I'm tight) until finally the whole thing broken this week. Charge not being held and therefore useless. Real shame as when it arrived it looked good and the first few shaves were great.

Good little unit, but!
Good little grooming set, nicely packed in a storage case with everything you need. Was pleased with its performance as a razor on my head and face and a 2min fizz around head and face hardly touched the charge. Unfortunately, on cleaning one of the heads came adrift and when replaced would not stay in place. Have returned but reordered as I think itโs worth another go.Replacement arrived with no obvious problems. No bits falling off. Cuts well enough for my baldy needs.
