Close up, it's obvious this plant is fake, but from afar, it looks fairly realistic and life-like, and it's not too big to fit on my fireplace mantel, something I wasn't sure if when ordering. The black base isn't heavy like true ceramic, but it has a little weight to it, so would still hurt if a child tugged it down. The foliage is a little picky to bend into place, but after a couple of minutes, it settles. Just be careful not to tug too hard because you could pull the stems out of the rock base accidentally. Overall, very happy with this purchase!

It could be a little more full, but it does look pretty good for what you pay, in my opinion. Expect to take some time fluffing it up and adjusting the leaves.

The plant was absolutely beautiful. I bought this plant for my nephew's dorm as he is headed to college. I ended up having to purchase another one after my daughter was it and wanted one in her room as well. The artificial leaves are soft and pliable, airy and a beautiful green. The pot is also a nice weight with a modern shape and color. It was just a perfect gift for busy teenagers who want plant decor with a feel of the real thing to bring their rooms to life. It actually looks great in any area. Made very nicely....looks real from a distance.

I liked the size of the plant for my purposes on a bookshelf in a home office. I like the smooth, rounded black pot - more finished than a black plastic inner planting pot. I also like the way it cascades in spots like a growing plant. I feel that you need some time and patience to unfurl all of the bendable branches and fluff out the leaves to make the plant look full and more realistic, and to get it just the way you want it. The leaves are thin, kind of paper-ish, and could have been a better quality. It looks nice from farther away, or maybe on a higher shelf, but it does serve my purpose.

Love these , I bought two of them to put together in a larger pot, whatever they used to put in this pot to keep these in place was so hard, managed to pull them out with pliers, I would have left them as they were but she wanted a bigger pot, they are really nice pots though.
