The key is too big to work with my PC.
I ordered the wrong product. The description should have been more specific about the PC model being supported

This is NOT a nano-saver lock
This vendor is shipping standard K-sized locks (with the T and pin arrangement) in packaging that indicates a Kensington nano-saver lock. Both the original shipment and the subsequent replacement were not the product advertised and do not work on laptops that take a nano lock.

Made for Lenovo laptops but even when correctly lock can be easily wiggled out of security port.
Have had other locked in the past - many years ago (20+) that worked great - this one not so much.

Incredibly insecure - check the video
The media could not be loaded. Just jiggle it and it will come off. The head is not wide enough to hold the laptop. I can just move it back and forth while pulling it and it comes off very easily. Check out the video for proof.

DO NOT BUY - KEY DESIGN IS INADEQUATE
Was using this for a week on company issued new HP. The key got stuck and there was zero way to dislodge the key. the key design is pathetic. there tip of the key design extends out by 1/8th of an inch and is inherently weak. Poor design. Kensington should recall all these keyed locked. Buy the SENDT keyed nano. Has a properly designed (round) key with no small extensions.

The key won't work after 10 months.
The locking mechanism is not very sturdy. The key won't unlock after 10 months of use. The price has dropped from $50 to $30 so I am buying another one. This time I will register so that I can use the warranty if it breaks again.

Works great for my Lenovo ThinkPad P14s
When I bought my new laptop, I figured I would be able to re-use the Kensington lock from the old one. No such luck because the old lock was too large to fit into the new laptop's security slot. I don't know why they are different sizes. One theory is that Kensington wants to sell new locks. Another is that the new laptop is more compact, so the security slots are smaller to save space. Either way, this new lock works perfectly.
