We have a window that is a more custom size. We were having trouble finding an affordable replacement screen that fit.This screen is a great fit and works well! We don't need full window coverage so this works for us. I like that it's width is adjustable. It's sturdy, keeps bugs out, and helps with air circulation.

The owner/property managers refusing to replace multiple missing screens in the house I just rented. I don't want to shell out $$ to have custom screens made for a house I don't own. These little beauties were at PERFECT solution. I have double-hung windows and they fit perfectly and are nice quality. When I leave this place, I'll take them with me!

I have cats that love to break screens and try to escape through them. I bought this one so if they did decide to damage the screen, I wasn't constantly buying repair kits for our nicer screens. This definitely isn't pet proof (however, doesn't claim to be) but I still gave it a 5 star because of its affordability and ease of use. It fits perfectly in my window and I love that you can easily adjust it to fit. The wood adds a nice touch to it too. I plan on buying another in the future and placing another in the window as that deters my cats a bit by having two there. I easily fix this with a sowing needle and some thread, and so far they haven't torn it! (Note: I use this on a double hung window)I wrote this review specifically for anyone else interested in buying this screen for pets who are a bit of a menace (I still love them though, and they enjoy the fresh air too).

Overall, I'm glad I bought these. The quality seems par for the course. I don't know where you would find a better product for a reasonable price. I would buy them again, in fact, I have bought a number of them over the last few years. I have a dozen or so now, and none have broken, not even the original "old ones," after several years of use. I use them during spring, summer and fall seasons.Pros:They do the job.They come in many sizes.Cons:They feel pretty flimsy. They are not the sturdy variety we grew up with before the days of household AC. They often "stick" when someone is sliding them, which can be really frustrating as you're holding the window up.

Hey if you don’t have a screen this as actually (although not a heavy wood/durable) it’s a good quality screen! It’s slides and adjusts and can accurately fit a window. I am pleased and will be ordering one for my other window w no screen. I think it’s worth it if you like to pop open your window and don’t have a screen. I’ve heard of people using them on moon roofs for camping in their car. Thumbs up on this

While I have bought the product in the past, this time they did not even last one season. The green allergen fabric did not hold up to the weather.

This works great. I have one window that did not have any type of a screen when we bought the house. For years I either didn’t open the window or I lived with flies coming in. One day I happened upon this while looking for something else, had no idea this type of thing existed. For the extremely inexpensive price, I had no faith it would even work but it definitely does! Wish I had of known about this years ago, super easy to install (basically you open the window, set this in that space, and close the window to meet the top of it), it’s simple, relatively secure, and no more flies just a lovely breeze.

Got this pack of two expandable screens as I have two windows that screens are messed up on. One the actual frame of the screen is bent (the window frame NOT the windwo screen i got), the other window my cat jumped through the screen. These make it easy for me to be able to open my windows again and they fit nicely. Easy to install.I only gave 4 stars because they feel kinda flimsy, but so far so good. Window hold them in place nice.

Great product!

We have an older home use it as a summer place and are their only occassionally. We elave these in all summer and they let fresh air in the house while keeping the rain out. We are very happy with them and they have cleared up the musty smell we had.

This product arrived damaged. It looks like it cost about 50 cents to make. Screen was popped out of place on both and one was ripped upon arrival. Not impressed. Do not recommend.

I have a veritable bone yard of broken screens, bought locally. The problem is, they are held together by cheap plastic clips, which only last a season or two. The wooden ends and metal sliding parts of my new Frost King screens appear to be far sturdier than what I have been able to purchase in the past. I have not had long enough to really judge, having only just received them, but so far, so good. I am very pleased to have found these.

Be very careful opening the screen to fit window else it will fall apart. Looks good once installed but don't move more than necessary or adjust more than necessary or it will definitely break.
