Almost like the factory part!
The old hinges these replaced were completely broken, so it took repairing a few windows to see that the original hinges would come apart by design. these units are assemblies that don't come apart, so screw to the window, then hold the window up while a second person screws the hinge to the frame. While making the process more than a one person job, an super fix for the windows that works like the original once installed.

They Fit
The brackets for my casement window were broke, and I thought I would need to replace the entire window or at least scavenge parts from a new window to fix it. I ordered these parts, almost blindly and I was amazed that they fit perfectly. All of the screw holes lined up, and the window worked like new. Much cheaper than buying a new window.

It does a bang-up job
of replacing an earlier version of itself. I used one kit so far to replace the hinges in a sagging window, and so far the improvement is really good. These windows are from 1995, so I expect the repair to last a while.

Perfect fit and great quality!
With the help from YouTube, it was pretty easy to replace this part. It was a perfect fit and nice quality. Will recommend!

10 truth hinge replacement
It was easy to install took only 5 minutes but these hinges had different hole location so I had to drill new holes to screw it down. Hard task was taking off old rusted took me almost an hour. Spray and soak old hinges with lubricant for at least 20 minutes.

Cheap and perfect fix
Came within a day and work great! I had left the window broken for years thinking it would cost a fortune to fix. What a blessing!

USE A TOOL TO DISCONNECT THE BRACE...NOT YOUR FINGERS
I tried disconnecting the brace from the window bracket using my thumb. It worked, but the edge of the bracket it so sharp that it sliced right through my thumb down to the muscle - nearly forcing a trip to the hospital for stitches. I guess the good thing is that it was so sharp that the cut was clean and recovery has been easy.So, WHEN DISCONNECTING THE CROSS BRACE YOU NEED TO USE A TOOL, NOT YOUR FINGERS.
