it was as advertised and an easy install for me by myself
gives me the ability to resaw logs up to 12inches.it was as advertised and an easy install for me by myself, (i put it together while it was on its back because i had no help at the time) worked for me.my riser kit didn't even need a shim in it, fit like a glove.(i did put a high gloss black finish on it before i installed it, as my saw is the anniversary edition which is blk and it matched perfectly)

Great Value to upgrade your bandsaw.
Easy to put together and fit great! Didn't have to readjust when I put the longer blade on and it cut like a champ. Highly recommend if you want to go from 6in of cutting depth to 12.

why wasn't this included with the saw originally?
Very easy to install. I did it myself without help. A little expensive for what it is, but I can't figure out why this isn't already included with the saw.

Very good kit
This kit had excellent instructions which is not the norm these days. All the parts are made with good materials.

but a few whisks with a file and love taps with a hammer and I was in business
Worked well though I don't have a grizzly, but a rigid 14002. The metal alignment pin were just a little off the holes, but a few whisks with a file and love taps with a hammer and I was in business. That was 5 months ago no problems since. works like a dream and cuts good enough with the resaw blade on it I don't have any complaints. Oh but the blade guard can be finicky, just take your time, not a hobby for rushing anyway.
