🔥 Keep the warmth flowing, all year round! 🌟
The Hiland THP-PFT Pilot Feed Tube is a crucial component for your tall patio heater, designed to connect the main control valve to the pilot flame. With a compact length of 4 inches, it ensures efficient operation and durability, allowing you to enjoy your outdoor space for up to 12 months, regardless of the season.

Creates the pilot light needed to start and keep the heater going
My standing patio heater wouldn't ignite. Despite efforts to clean the pilot feed tube using compressed air, the tiny orifice remained clogged. A fine wire or pin, about the thickness of a thick hair, would likely do the trick, but I lacked such a tool. I ordered a replacement pilot feed tube, unscrewed the old one, which was stubbornly sealed in place, and installed the new one. The pilot light now functions properly.

Fixed Pilot Light issue on Propane Patio Heater.
This replacement pilot feed tube fixed my patio heater which would not maintain a pilot light.I picked up a patio heater for free, with an "ignitor not working". Well, the ignitor worked fine but the heater would not light. I first replaced the ball valve safety switch, and still it did not work. I then replaced the thermo-coupler which allowed the heater to ignite, but I would have to hold a lighter to it because the pilot light would not stay lit. I then replaced the pilot feed tube with this part and the heater works like new now.

The hole is supposed to be small
I am sure that everyone that has ever owned a patio heater can attest that almost annually the pilot light will not work. Try as you may, it just won't light so you have to clean the orifice. Once cleaned it will generally work for that season. Well, I took mine apart and sort of over cleaned it to the point I enlarged the orifice. This caused my pilot light to be about 1" tall. Not really a good thing. I decided they needed to be replaced to get them back to specs and this did the trick.

Exact replacement part needed
It turns out that this was exactly the part I needed. I was just hoping this would be the solution to my problem and it was. The hardest part was removing the old part from the heater. After that, putting the replacement in and reassembling was a smooth process. Now my heater fires up perfectly.

Dimensions
This tube was too short for my heater, and the tip was too large to fit inside the pilot tube. Be careful when selecting these, they are not as universal as you might think.

Perfect fix
This saved me money…. My patio heater was not working so I tried replacing just this. Worked great and avoided a few much more expensive options
