Short king
Husband loves it! Super fun, and great sword that doesn’t take up too much space. Gets lots of ooooooosand ahhhhhhhs when guests see it and makes the husband look extra cool. The trick is to always use a thoroughly chilled champagne bottle!

Wow - this is fun!
If you have never opened a bottle of Champagne with a sword, you are missing out on one of life’s small treasures. I don’t even really like Champaign, but I’m always available to cut the top of the bottle off.

such a fun way to open your champagne!

Good quality but may not work on hard plastic corks
I bought this as a gift for my brother and sister-in-law, but I liked the quality of it. I visit them often and haven't seen them use it even when they serve champagne. They frequently drink mimosas when tailgating and on vacations, and usually buy magnums of Cook's Champagne which have hard plastic corks. This may not work on hard plastic so beware of that.

An inexpensive way to try this spiffy trick
This Resafy Champagne Saber With Wooden Box Champagne Knife Champagne Sword Champagne OpenerResafy Champagne Saber With Wooden Box Champagne Knife Champagne Sword Champagne Opener is a good solid choice for a Champagne Saber. Not as decorative nor as expensive as some, this is a great way to try out this fun trick. The trick of hitting the neck of a champagne bottle just so, at a angle, going up the side of the bottle is very cool and showy.Do not try it indoors or with anyone close by. Practice with some cheap stuff outdoors with a tarp and a first aid kit. Wear cut resistant gloves to start.

always wanted to pop a c.bottle with a saber, now i can!
this saber is for the practice of opening a champagne bottle by sabering off the top if the bottle’s neck. there is no need for the saber to have any sharpness and therefore this one is a dull or blunt one; so don’t expect it to be.there are quite a few videos in youtube showing how to do it so i’ll leave it at that and just talk about the saber.this saber is sort enough to do the job but long enough to be called a sword/saber. using this in sabering off the c. bottle just makes the event more glamorous !the saber is nice and shiny with a wooden handle.i’ll need to shop for a stand for it so it can sit beside an jce cold champagne bottle next time host a party (hoping it will be soon).wear safety glasses and cut resistant gloves when doing this! safety first!hope this helps.

Well made; Giftable
This is my second champagne saber (both made by this company--Resafy). Both of them seem to be very well made. This one is a lot less expensive than the other one than I have. But for a gift or the occasional user, this one seems to make a lot of sense. It's sturdy and well made, but the price won't break the bank.If you're not sure about whether or not you want to become a champagne saber user, this is a great way to test it out. It's also collectible in the sense that it's unique and it looks nice.
