I like the product itself, scent is nice, hold is good. I have a problem with the mechanics of the container. I did not know with arthritic fingers I would have trouble pushing the valve down. It is not an aerosol dispenser.

It’s hard to find a non-aerosol good for you, good for the planet hairspray that isn’t crunchy! I found it in this Aveda product! I love the soft hold, never crunchy. I love the smell and it has nice shine. The only issue is the same issue that I found with any spray bottle hairspray, the nozzle gets sticky and clogged. I just give it a rinse after using, and it’s ready the next time. I can always count on Aveda for the best products.

I love this medium hold because it isn't as sticky but yet holds it in place.

It smells nice, holds great, it makes my hair look nice and shiny. Kind of expensive but worth it.

It's better than not having any product at all but still looking for a go-to hairspray that is non-toxic or less toxic than traditional brands. This doesn't work well as a finishing spray. Since the spray takes a little longer to dry than a traditional spray and I prefer volume at my roots, rather than using it normally and having pieces of my hair clump together while it's drying, I spray it into my palm and apply it underneath the top layer of my hair at the roots. I find this works better as I can spread out the product with my hands. Also, the product does get gunky where the nozzle and bottle meet but it rinses off fine with water. The smell wasn't my favorite at first but I've grown accustomed to it.

I used to use only aveda products and over the years found other brands. I saw brillant aveda hair spray on amazon and thought I would see if it was as good as I remembered. It is !!! The scent is light and yummy. It has a light hold where I can still run my fingers through my hair and I am hooked! It is my ride or die from here on out.update : the spray bottle clogs and dribbles large drops of hair spray on my hair in spots. had to switch to different spray bottle

This hairspray is the best!! Every time I spray my hair someone tells me how good I smell. I would recommend this to everyone1

I have a dead straight hair style to my mid length blunt hair cut. I don't want a wave or a frizz in my hair. I spray on a lot of this Aveda Brillant Hair I spray it on the morning. I comb it in place and let the saturated hair dry. BUT-I do not brush out when dry. In the heat and humidity of a New Jersey summer, and my long commute- I keep the saturated look in my hair until I am at work. The when I am in the AC Cooler air, and my head cools off...I brush it out. As a result my hair stays DEAD STRAIGHT and UN-FRZZY all summer dayy!! And everyone compliments me on the smell of my hair. I love the scent.
