Much nicer than expected, it was also painted, exact fit, 1977 Chevy C20, usually they arrive in raw steel having it painted saves a lot of time, high quality build, will buy more of these, would highly recommend. MAKE SURE you measure you tank, the dimensions are in description they all say they “fit” and they do but you may need to order different hardware, I read the description, measured, and this one fit perfectly, as an OLD mechanic, it’s up to YOU to know what you’re ordering.

Fit a 1977 Chevy c10 truck on the driver's side. I like the paint they put on it. Seems like it is also clear coated on top of the paint. It will be dented and damaged when it arrives it so be prepared for paint touchup. No box padding. It just flops around in a cardboard box. Comes with locking ring and gasket for fuel sender. Only 4 stars because flange around tank does not match stock tank.The original tank has rounded flange corners. This tank has squared off flange corners that prevent the stock front plastic tank protective shield from fitting without modification of the shield.The flange is also not bent downwards in the mounting areas like the original tank. A sledgehammer may be required to bend the flange if the mounting strap will not reach it's mounting hole. To avoid the sledgehammer on the nice new tank, the strap can be tightened into position by removing the bracket padding first then fully tightening the strap to the mount. Next, release the strap and nut and reinstall the bracket padding. The strap should now poke through the mounting hole enough to get the locking nut on it.
