Worked for hormonal acne
Same as a few other reviewers, I learned of this from an online girl who has a blog and youtube channel talking about natural ways to fight acne. (thelovevitamin.com) I've had really really bad acne since I was 20 (now 26), and it's been on and off serious to mild as I try different methods of curing it, from topical to chinese herbs, to various skin care regiments and naturapaths, dermatologists...and the list goes on. Nothing worked to truly clear my skin, NOTHING.Quick background about my skin:I can say through a long list of methods, this was the "last straw that broke the camel's back". Long story short, 2 years ago my acne got VERY VERY bad, I drank tons of chinese herbs for about a year and it helped it to calm down, but I still had new ones popping up, some small and some monstrous. I was then introduced to coffee enemas which helped to remove a lot of toxins from my liver (look up the Gerson Therapy, it's a great way to heal the body of so many diseases). After almost a year of doing enemas almost daily, my acne was reduced significantly, but I still had cystic acne around my jaw line and under my chin. But my forehead, cheeks, and nose area cleared up.Result of Estroblock:It was around this time, when I knew there was more I needed to do to completely clear up my skin that I stumbled across the girl with the website mentioned above. Two weeks into taking estroblock, my skin was clearing up and I wasn't getting new cystic acne!!! I took this for a month, and saw serious results. Many ppl say it takes 2-3 month, but it took me 2-3 weeks. Which is a huge relief, because I didn't want to spend so much money to find yet another failed product. I took two tablets daily, one in the morning and one at night. I stuck with my schedule perfect for about 90% of the month I took this.Tried another brand:After I ran out, I wanted to save money and purchase DIM, which is half the price. I know that the main ingredient inside both products was significantly lower for the DIM brand, but I wanted to try anyways. I found that taking the first bottle of DIM gave me the same results as Estroblock, and I slowly actually stopped taking it religiously on a daily basis. And yes, my skin stayed clear. I say randomly I would get a PIMPLE, but I mean a tiny small red pimple that is barely noticeable compared to the huge volcanic ones I used to get. And these pimples went away quite quickly. However, I still have dark spots, and hard lumps under my right side chin on my neck that is really stubborn and hard to get rid of. After I finish my DIM, I'm considering going back to Estroblock for a month, and see if it will help get rid of these stubborn things.Bottom Line:GREAT PRODUCT. Highly recommended for people with hormonal acne to at least try it out.

Great! Fantastic! LOVE!
UPDATE**** May 2014So I had another fight with acne this spring, after many diet changes (going back to drinking starbucks in the fall, which hasn't happened since) and finally sticking (its been about 5 months) with mostly raw vegan and pretty low fat foods I decided to give this a try again. YES! Within about two days no more acne was coming up and the others were drying up. NOTE that this was what seemed to be mostly hormonal acne, it was along my jaw and on my chin but not really anywhere else, any other type of acne on cheeks or forehead was healed with going back to 100% organic, not processed foods. Part of me thinks I need to add a liver cleanse in here as well just to clean my poor abused liver from previous years. I will say when I was recommended this I was told a liver cleanse is usually a good idea, so I will finally order than on amazon and give it a go. I will say that this time around I started really really gradually because I took the normal dose the first day and had horrible headaches etc. So I started with half of the dose for a few days and then bumped it up without any problems. I am counting on staying on track this time since my body tends to get really sick from crap foods now, but until it can heal itself estroblock is to the rescue.ORIGINAL REVIEWMy skin lost it after I moved, severe acne and I am 24 going to grad school. I had done many months of research and realized I probably have some sort of hormonal acne due to the location and other factors. So instead of aggressively treating it which I had been, I starting taking these pills, washing my face with organic raw honey and using coconut or jojoba oil to moisturize. Sure enough three months later I was able to go off of it no problems. My skin was 100 percent clear. My acne scars are almost 100 percent gone and I maybe get one or two small pimples during that time of the month. Not to mention I lost all of the weight I put on during my move, which was stubborn before I started taking this. I did try the triple strength and found it way too strong. This was a miracle product and honestly I will keep a jar safe by my side in case something like that ever happens to me again. It took about two months for my acne to really go away. You have to be patient but it has been over four months since I have been off and I have not had more than two pimples at once since, not the giant red ones, more like little bumps that only I notice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

meh. less acne, no period, no miracle cure.
I stopped taking birth control 7 months ago, and everything was fine until the acne started 4 months later. Not small manageable zits, but huge painful cystic pimples, and at the rate of at least 2 a day. My face was quickly scarring and there were times when my cheeks were so painful I couldn't smile. I was desperate. I started taking estroblock and the acne abated instantly (even though it said it would take a few weeks) . Like, the next day I had no new pimples. Now, I'm getting 1-2 new pimples a week, even with a combo of estroblock, LED therapy, and no dairy. It is much better than before, but no miracle cure. The reason I give three stars it's that since I started estroblock, I haven't had a period. 50 days and no cycle. I don't think I'll be conceiving with no period, so there's really no reason to be off birth control.UPDATE: After three months of estroblock, my acne had reverted to being just as painful and persistent as it was before I started taking estroblock, only now it was centralized in a different place. Whereas before my acne was cystic on the upper cheeks, now it was cystic on my jaw and constant whiteheads around my mouth (still using LED therapy and Effaclar acne system). I stopped taking estroblock and within three days, my acne stopped. Completely. So for at least a month, it seems that estroblock was actually CAUSING my acne. Now I'm just left with the redness and scarring.
