Very practical
Amazes me nothing new under the sun with ministry. Spurgeon’s book reiterates the importance of having devotion with God everyday; which, impacted his ministry. He was true to the Word of God and God planted a love and urgency for people to receive salvation through Jesus Christ. A challenge for us is to be Soul winners for the Lord. It saddens me we have been distracted from our calling and have fallen victim to the political nature of church. Refreshing reading!

This book is definitely a must read for all Soul Winners. Hands down!
This book is a must read. I brought it originally as a E-book but I'm buying this in an actual book form as I find that this is a invaluable resource to have and I plan on reading it again. Spurgeon speaks truth boldly and unashamedly. I found this to be of such encouragement and found within its pages ideas to implement, things to ponder, rebuke where needed. Truly found that this is a book about the heartbeat behind evangelism.

The Soul Winner review
I learned many things about preparing myself in sharing the faith, in studying and in communing with God. The qualified laborers are indeed few…

Soul stirring for soul winning
This is a great book. No doubt it is from the pen of the Prince of preachers. I have learnt new things and encouraged where I was getting discouraged in reaching out to the lost. This book is not only a good instruction on soul winning. It is also a good read for personal sanctification for anyone who seeks to win the lost must himself take care of himself.

Great advice for would-be evangelists from “the Prince of Preachers”
I enjoy reading books by old-time evangelists. When I saw this one available for free on Amazon Kindle, I knew I needed to add it to my library.Reading this like a daily devotional, I found lots of good advice for evangelism. While it is mostly written for those who preach—either in a church or open-air settings—there are also good points for believers who practice “friendship evangelism” and other types of one-on-one relational witnessing techniques.I like that Spurgeon not only talked about the believer’s message, but also his or her prayer life, character and expectations. He also used personal examples to illustrate his points. The editors of this book did a good job of transcribing this book for publication in electronic form. Although I found some typos, it was a fairly easy read. I recommend it for pastors and anyone who wants to be a better soul-winner.

Gods grace(free gift of eternal life)
Classic book on evangelism. It shows that we have broken Gods holy laws (have lied, stolen, etc., )and that Jesus paid our fine when He died on the cross for our sins, and rose the 3rd day. And that all we have to do is repent and believe the gospel. Turn from our sin and believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. That’s what this book teaches.

Worthy to be read over and over
A book that reminds and teaches us how to be soul winners for Christ and how to bring others to him by his word and by being a good example among other things. It is insightful and forces a degree of introspection

Timeless
I read this a few decades ago. It was good to read it again. The book mostly speaks to the heart of the Christian worker, lay and clergy, but it does offer some timeless insight into church growth methodology as well. Spurgeon "being dead, yet speaketh, offering much needed rebuke and encouragement to the modern minister.
