I love both of my new pairs of shorts 👍! I got the navy blue & army green ones. Sooo cute & even better? Most are on a great sale right now! That’s when I swoop up the deals 😜!!Also, I’d think it would possibly be the opposite, but it’s not, the pants version of these shorts fit me in size XS. I have several. The shorts? I had to return XS & I went with S & it fits like the pants do but a size higher 🤷‍♀️. Pretty funny lol. Just making note of that one.I love them. Super cute & Y2K low rise ✌️. I am 38 years old and have not worn shorts since the 8th grade, yes, that is correct. I don't like anything about shorts for numerous reasons... muffin top, riding up on the inner thigh area, tightness around the waist, etc.. In the summer I wear dresses and yoga pants. I've been fine up until this current summer. Maybe it's all the time spent at home in a pandemic, or maybe my 1 year old is more active than my son was who is now 7.. This summer it finally got to me. It was time. I took my time for week, read reviews, researched what I may like, talked to friends.. ridiculous I know.I settled on these and absolutely ADORE THEM. I am 5'2" and 135 pounds on a bad day but 130 on a good day. That 5 pounds makes a difference in the way things fit me in the waist area. I have wide hips and carry my extra weight in the stomach when I do not make the best food choices. I put these shorts on and they fit perfect! No muffin top, and no riding up in the thighs when I walk, which I always loathed. I wore them when I had friends over for a BBQ. So lots of walking, chasing kids, hostessing, and finished with a softball game. I paired them with an orange cotton loose fit tank which I tucked in the front and left the back out. Two things to know. They are linen so they stretch as you wear them- just made them better. Secondly, they are on the shorter side, which helped with the riding up. I will be ordering them in every color possible. I would highly recommend cold water and line dry for these. I am sure they'll shrink right up. I purchased a Medium.

To start I’m 4’11”and 132. This is chubby for me, I’m usually under125. I ordered size medium and they fit perfectly. I’m more apple shaped than pear shaped. I’m not skinny but I don’t have big legs or a super big butt. I usually struggle with shorts because at my height, longer shorts just don’t look right on me and when I’m buying a larger size than usual (I’m chubby this month) they tend to have a longer inseam. These shorts were perfect. The waist band is comfortable. The inseam is on the short side, but without being obscene. The leg openings are perfect, in my opinion. I have a hard time finding shorts with leg openings that aren’t super baggy on me, however, if you’re more pear shaped, with big legs/butt I would suggest sizing up. Anyway- I love these shorts !

Great shorts! Will buy again BUT a size or two down.

The main reason I bought these shorts is because I thought they were purple like the picture shows. But in reality they are navy blue. Just wanted to put that out there for anyone else thinking they are buying purple shorts. I have a pear shaped body with most of my weight carried in the hips/thighs so I sized up like all the other reviewers were recommending and went with the XL instead of the L, but I wish I did not because they are quite loose. I can still wear them since its a draw string, but really hoping they will shrink a bit when I wash/dry them.

I'm 5'3" (160), 127 lbs (58 kg), and between a 2-4 in American jeans, with wide hips. I sized up on these shorts, because Roxy is a brand typically aimed a teens and younger women that are a bit narrower in the hips. Glad I did. Medium fit perfect. Has a lower rise (which I like), nice material that is not sheer, fits well in the butt, and has nice room in the legs. Adjustable draw string means no muffin tops. They are short but not SUPER short, and feel appropriate for my age (34)If you are a bit curvier on the bottom, I'd say size up one.
